ruud

SAF has been guarding evra recently, but he was good for his half vs newcastle and west ham won't be as tough opposition physically, so we should give the lad a go.
hammers also play open football, so i reckon he'll shuffle the midfield and give fletch a go and ryan can cover kieran.
finally, ruud deserves his fecking chance!!

3-1 united - ruud, rooney and giggsy (sheringham pen)

Why change the midfield pair when they are doing so well? Fletch isnt a very good midfielder and i doubt he will do better than Giggs, so no changes there!

VDS
G. Neville Rio Vidic Evra
Ronaldo O´Shea Giggs Park
Ruudvanwelcomeback Rooney

Subs: Howard, Silvestre, Fletcher, Rossi, Saha

Why does evraone want Evra back in the team? Nothing against him particularly, but the defence is fine. Don't start fecking with it.

ruud to get his chance - everything else pretty much the same, but i agree with bobbobray, fletch will come in midfield giggs will shift out to the left as cover for richardson - hopefully a win with clean sheet 2-0

This line-up is working, then why change it?

Hopefully there are some streaming channels for that game, as most of them will show those boring CL games

Squad calls for young Reds trio

Reserve team skipper Markus Neumayr, Darron Gibson and Richie Jones have all been included as Ferguson reported a series of niggles were affecting his plans.

Wes Brown (groin) is again missing, while Kieran Richardson (foot) is also absent after picking limping out of Sunday's win over Birmingham.

United (from): Van der Sar, Howard, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Pique, Silvestre, Evra, Ronaldo, Giggs, O'Shea, Park, Fletcher, van Nistelrooy, Saha, Rooney, Rossi, Neumayr, Gibson, Jones.

"It is difficult to change a winning team and I don't think you should," said Ferguson, whose side have now won six on the trot in Premiership combat.

"But we have two massive games coming up and I may make one or two changes on Wednesday just to freshen things up a little bit."

why do i smell fletcher? ruud will be one change but i think he'll f about with midfield too.

Selection Headache For Sir Alex

Sir Alex Ferguson will have to deal with injuries to his squad as his side looked to make it seven Premiership wins in a row when West Ham visit Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Wes Brown (groin) and Kieran Richardson (ankle) are both definitely out and, although the manager did not specify any other injured players, he has called in three young midfielders into his squad for the match.

Brown is expected to return for the Arsenal match but Richardson could be back sooner, with this weekend's trip to Bolton a possibility.

“We’ve got a couple of other injuries from the Birmingham game on Sunday," said the Reds boss at his press briefing on Tuesday. "We hope we can repair them in time for Wednesday’s game.

“But we’ve had to add a few younger players into the squad; Rossi and Pique are there, also included are [Markus] Neumayr, Richard Jones and Darron Gibson.

“We’ll have a better idea on Wednesday, but hopefully I can play a side good enough to win."

German midfielder Neumayr, who turned 20 last week, has captained the Reserves in recent weeks but is yet to make a first-team start at Old Trafford.

Ritchie Jones and Darron Gibson were both handed debuts this season in the Carling Cup third round win over Barnet in October.

Manchester-born Jones, 19, was recently recalled from a loan spell with Belgian club Royal Antwerp to be part of United's first-team set-up, while 18-year-old Northern Ireland midfielder Gibson, who came on as a substitute against Barnet, has continued his development in the club's Academy and Reserves.

I think Neuymar will do well, has shown alot of potential with the reserves

We'll lose this one, a combination of decent attacking play from Westham and comical defending Rio and Mickery, some spastic team changes by Fergie whichll kill us as an attacking threat.

Or we'll win 3-0

Pique, Rossi, Gibson, Neumayr and the Joneses are the players we are looking to for a step up in the next seasons. Good to see them involved. Hope Rossi gets a runout.

Hope a few of the young lads make at least a subs appearance. Jones and Gibson would be interesting to see them given a try. Would be nice to see Rossi too

Rossi are probably the only one of the youngsters that has a chance of making the bench.

Likely bench
