Manchester City vs. Manchester United

We must take our chances. City where the better team in the 2nd half and we looked tired. Well.. forget this. Next Newcastle.

feck it guys, we 'll see who's smiling when we win the Champions league. City ar well capable of fecking it in the finals.

Oh feck it - we've got bigger fish to fry. I suppose the embarrasing relatives couldn't go on losing forever (although it was sure fun while it lasted and lasted). And they have spent a few bob so, unfortunately, it's a reality we're gonna have to get used to.

feck me....they're celebrating like they've won the fa cup.

i bet they lose in the final.

Scholesy's sending off was the clincher. We could have well pulled one back if it was 11 on 11. Don't know why we stopped playing after those 2 early misses. Maybe Fergie on the touchline would have made a difference.

He's always liable to lose concentration in some part of the game

He's guaranteed one awful feck up a game. He'll pass the ball to the other team usually further up the pitch. Today, he did it right outside the box. If he were a keeper with a consistent 1 feck up per game, he'd be gone. Normally, it doesn't cause us to concede, but he has a major lapse in concentration nearly every game. Luckily, we make up for it most of the time.

Berbatov blew it also, but Chicharito should have started. No way he'd miss both of those.

Poor match by our standards and deserved win for City. Hate to admit it but they were better team, after some possesion and two Berbas misses we started to fade away which they took adventage from and scored the winner.

Sell Michael Carrick. He's a feck up. Yeah, he played a good pair of games in the past two years, but he's gone and royally fecked us today.

It was VDS who fecked up, he kicked the ball right to them on the edge of the area which lead to the goal, if he had cleared it properly Carrick wouldn't have been in that situation.

I was planning to make a heated reply, but instead I'll just pass. No use.

The display in the second half was pathetic.

And Carrick's confidence will be shattered now and it won't surprise me if it has a post Rome effect on him and it's a real shame because he's been brilliant for us over the last few weeks.

I just hope he can put it behind him.

Yeah we should have started Anderson in midfield to go up against Toure. They were physically more dominant in midfield with Toure and De Jong.

I missed the game. Just got back
How bad was the Scholes red? and what all games does he miss now.

Can't really have any complaints, City were the better team and kudos to them. But, why wait till the 83rd minute to get O'Shea off? Fabio should've been brought on much sooner, and Park was a disaster. It would've been good to see 442 with Berba and Hernandez but never mind:(

No, Carrick fecked up, deal with it.

2 things went wrong. We failed to capitalise on a comfortable first half in which we should have pressed them a lot more. Scholes sending off.

His kicking has been abysmal in recent weeks. I don't know what's happened. He is normally so reliable with his distribution.

Absolutely abysmal performance. Easy to say now, but playing 4-5-1 with Berba alone up top was a bad idea. He and Valencia made each other essentially useless. The complete omission of Giggs is still baffling. Scholes with another typically terrible tackle and it's cost us a ton on a top level this time, which could be key in his decision to retire now, I think. His comments recently have hinted he's leaning towards retirement and this could be a big factor in his decision.

City weren't even very good aside from the first 15 minutes of the second half. We were good for the first half hour or so, then went to shit. Their only real chance, which they scored on, was a complete gift from Carrick. Toure was fantastic though, Balotelli laughably useless. How much did he cost again?

On the bright side, Anderson was very good in his cameo. That's about it.

Did you actually see it? VDS passed them the ball, he was supposed to clear it and instead went 'there you go' and gave it them on the edge of the area, if you think that's not messing up then there's no point discussing this any further.

Yes Carrick made a mistake, after seeing his keeper feck up big time he has to think wtf shit got to pass and got closed down and intercepted, he made a mistake yes due to being put under unecessary pressure from his keeper messing up. In your own words, deal with it.

The knee jerk comments here for one bad mistake are hilarious after he's been getting glowing praise especially from Scholes about how great he is.
