Figure SAF will give the kids a run-in since second spot is all but Chelsea's.

1-1 with 10 minutes left, SAF opts to bring on the 2 south american misfits ( Kleberson and Forlan) in place of Ruud and Giggsy. the crowd are confused by the changes but, with just seconds left on the clock Keano makes an important interception and the ball falls to the Kleb. he looks up and curls a beautiful ball into the box. Forlan runs onto it and smashes the ball into the back of the net with a superbly struck half volley. the crowd go wild, united win and the long haired one has redeemed himself for another couple of weeks until he misses a sitter in the cup final.

pleeeeaaaaasssse united, win this one. my whole family are Chelsea lovers. if we lose this one theyll be taunting me about it for months

-------------- Howard --------------

G.Neville - Brown - Silvestre - O'Shea

Ronaldo - Keane --- Fletcher - Giggs

----------- Scholes ---------------

-------- van Nistelrooy -----------

For the love of God, Fergie, play players in their proper positions!

Ain't sure whether Keane, Ruud, Saha and and Ronaldo will recovered from their injuries in time for this match, I hope they do cos we need them.

The best and strongest starting line up ofcourse :

---Howard--------
---Gary-------Wes------Silves------Oshea-------
---Ronnie-------Keane---------Scholes---------Giggs-------
---Saha_---------Ruud--------------

Subs :
Fletch
Kleb
Bellion
Carroll
Djemba

Would like to see:

Howard
G.Neville - Brown - Silvestre - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Scholes - Keane - Giggs
Saha - V.Nistelrooy

But think this will be the team:

Howard
G.Neville - Brown - Silvestre - O'Shea
Fletcher - Keane - Scholes - Giggs
Saha - V.Nistelrooy

hehe..

It always has been a beaut and always will be.

The FA Cup still has magic for me. That English tradition. It symbolises English football. And I will celebrate just as much as ever before if we win it this year.

The FA Cup has been away too long from OT, so bring it home lads.

This is what I would like to see.

---------------Howard---------------
--Gaz ---- Brown ------Micky ---Phil -
--Roni-----Scholes ---Keane --- Giggs
-----------RvN ------ Saha ---------

but I bet 'Tinkerman' would start with this.

---------------Howard---------------
--Gaz ---- Brown ------Micky ---Josh -
-Fletcher-----Phil ---Keane --- Ronaldo
---------------Scholes---------------
----------------RvN ----------------

damn, i got millwall on my mind.

Yeah I'd take your lineup.. But then again, seeing as the season is over in the premiership I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie wanted Djemba to have a go. I think the fear of a fan backlash will make sure he plays the big boys though. If injuries permit of course.

I want you to win this un....

Not very feckin likely tho is it?

You're rubbish

You won't find any arguements here Davo.

We all laughed at Houllier for buying Igor Biscan, Diao, Diouf, Vladimir Smicer, Heskey and Finnan in trying to make the Liverpool squad "younger" (but fecking shite), but this lot would walk into the United first-XI ATM with the players our "richest club in the world" currently (and simultaneously :wenger: ) utilises.

Really the thing that irks me is why United supporters have to pay twice as much as the likes of Birmingham, Southampton and Fulham's supporters to see a first-XI team marginally worse, not just in terms of form, but also (currently) in quality?

There's nothing wrong with recruiting the likes of Liam Miller to the Manchester United squad, but Manchester United shouldn't therefore be described as the biggest/best/richest club in the world, because currently it isn't - it is the shareholders that are the biggest/best/richest.

I'll support the club whatever direction (upwards or downwards) it DECIDES to take in the coming years, but the current direction doesn't deserve the vast amount of £pounds, dollars, yen, etc is generates.

How many of the young/inexperienced/shite players won us the league last season (or got us to the top this Christmas)? None.

This team (barring injuries±, suspensions^ or summer replacements*) did:

---------------------Howard*--------------------
--G Neville----Brown±---Silvestre-----O'Shea--
--Solskjaer----Keane-----Butt---------Giggs--
------------Saha(Scholes^)----------------------
-------------------van Nistelrooy-----------------

Carroll
P Neville
Ronaldo (after 60mins please)
Kleberson/Fletcher
Forlan

The rest should EARN their place because this is not a holiday camp.

agreed.....there's a rat's chance in hell that they will lose to Leeds

They need to see who stays and who goes....I'd rather not see RVN get injured.

im really starting to hope that ruud is unjured, because if hes not this starts to make sense.

we should really win this one just for pride ffs!

Howard

GNeville Brown Silvestre O'Shea

Ronaldo Scholes Keane Giggs

Solskjaer Saha

2nd that line-up if Ruud really injured. :)

But knowing SAF he might somehow throw suprises like playing Giggs upfront and play Fletcher on the right. :nervous:

It's wall over for Jimmy
By MARK IRWIN

ANGRY Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink may have kicked his last ball for Chelsea — after booting a dressing-room wall!

The Dutchman lashed out in frustration following Wednesday’s Champions League KO.

Now the club fear he has damaged a bone in his foot after limping away from Stamford Bridge on crutches.

Hasselbaink, 32, went for a scan to assess the damage yesterday and is almost certainly out of tomorrow’s Manchester United clash.

The £15million striker is currently considering his Chelsea future and seems certain to leave in the summer.

He was desperate to end his Blues career on a high by firing the club through to their first Champions League final.

To make matters worse, he was substituted midway through the second-half by Hernan Crespo and was powerless to prevent the collapse of his Euro dream.

And that proved the final straw for the fiery hitman who is the club’s leading scorer with 18 goals this season.

Hasselbaink

Chelsea are demoralized and are there for the taking. If you lot show up you should be able to beat them. However I can see this finishing in a draw.......

If there is any sort of pride and hunger in our team, we should go all out to win after our recent poor showing.

COME ON UNITED!!!!!!!!!

Kenyon's gonna get some stick tomorrow....

RUUD TO RETURN

Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to return to the Manchester United line-up for Saturday's encounter with Chelsea at Old Trafford.

The Dutch striker has been plagued by knee and thigh problems in recent weeks but Sir Alex Ferguson has declared the 26-goal striker ready to return to action as the Red Devils look to retain their hopes of a second-placed Barclaycard Premiership finish.

Paul Scholes returns from a three-match ban, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Louis Saha are both available again.

The only definite absentee is skipper Roy Keane who is not expected to have recovered from a hamstring injury until next week.

Team (from): Howard, Carroll, G Neville, Brown, Silvestre, O'Shea, P Neville, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Djemba-Djemba, Butt, Kleberson, Giggs, Van Nistelrooy, Saha, Forlan.

This is the last home game of the season, a time for the players to show their appreciation for the support we've given them. No better way to do that than go out and stick it to Chelsea. After the last few games we deserve it! Come on you Reds!
