----------Koosh-----------
Brown-Smalling-Evans-Fabio
B3b3--Gibson--Carrick-Obertan
------Hernandez-Owen------

maybe Park in place of Hernandez

Eikrem should get a look in

I doubt it. It will be a B team but Fergie won't take it too lightly.

Hopefully another chance for is all too see Bébé again though.

Isn't our CL tie with Marseille the Tuesday after this match? Did Eikrem leave on loan or permanently ?

Isn't Valencia supposed to be in contention for this?
He will be back training with the first team next week after a week of non contact training

so dont expect him to be back for another 2-3 weeks

When are Evans and Ferdinand back?

If neither is in contention for this or the game following, I could see Smalling spared with O'Shea and Brown at centreback.

Rio's not going to be able to make the CL tie, so I'd guess they won't play Smalling who seems to be the automatic replacement at the moment.

Brown/Evans, Brown/O'Shea or Evans/O'Shea.

This seens likely if fit, maybe Valencia on the bench or a surprise Hargreaves appearance.

What I would give to see that  The lack of cover on our flanks are so painful recently. Throwing 3 strikers on the bench today, because we don't have no back-up wingers, is just...

----------------PIG-----------------
Brown---Smalling---Evans------Fabio
Bebe-----Gibson---Anderson--Obertan
---------Owen----Chicharito---------

Subs: Lindegaard, O'Shea, Scholes, Giggs, Valencia(?), Rooney, Berbatov.

Big guns on the bench just in case, but I think that starting 11 should still have enough to get the job done. Put a question mark against Valencia as to whether he'll make the bench or not, but it'll be the perfect game for him to maybe even get a run-out and see how he does.

Hope the likes of Morrison, Josh King and Robbie Brady get a bench appearance with a couple of them getting an outing in the first team.

Team should be...

GK: Lindegaard

RB: O'Shea
CB: Brown
CB: Evans
LB: Fabio

RM: Obertan
CM: Carrick
CM: Gibson
LM: Park

CF: Owen
CF: Hernandez

Subs: PIG, Rafael, Vidic, Anderson, Bebe, Giggs, Berbatov

5-1 Hernandez hat-trick, Owen with the other two

May as well remove Chelsea from that list tbh
