Swift delete Top.

Good matchday thread. Take not AAO, you filthy animal.

Good, everything is back in order now.

VidaRed, you better be ready with the CL final thread come Tuesday night.

Hey VidaRed make the thread now and just reserve the first post.....actually no, that's stupid!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see Becks in a United shirt again  Looking forward to seeing the rest who turn out for it. Should be a good night.

Any word on the strength of the Juve team playing?

Have we got the full line-ups?

Probably

Schmeichel

Neville May Pallister Irwin

Beckham Butt Fortune

Cantona

Cole Yorke

---------

Del Piero Inzaghi

Zidane

Davids Tacchinardi Conte

Birindelli Montero Iuliano Pessotto

Peruzzi

our team line up should be a combination of our current squad, some of the 92 youth team players and some from the legendary 1999 team...

i reckon we will see at least 4 different united team playing about 20 minutes each...

That's good. Strange as it may be for a keeper, but Scmeichel is one of my all time favourite players.

Ignore that line-up, ::sonny:: appears to have pulled it out of his arse.

Phil Neville will surely play...........?

P.Neville, Beckham, Butt, Scholes and Giggs have all been confirmed. The last two I imagine will be short cameos, but nevertheless Fergie mentioned all of them as playing.

Dwight Yorke apparently wasn't asked. That might change, but him and Neville were bantering about it when we played Blackburn last week and Redknapp said he surely has to be involved.

Will Jamie be getting involved in this one? Might be good for his development if SAF passed him the reins just for this match, in time for when he takes over the helm permanently?

fecking hell, can't we play that United side against Barca?

Juve Squad v MUFC: Buffon, Storari, Manninger; Motta, Chiellini, Barzagli, Traore, Bonucci, De Ceglie, Sorensen,Melo, Salihamidzic, Marchisio, Aquilani, Pepe, Martinez, Krasic, Giandonato, Boniperti; Del Piero, Toni, Matri

O'Shea, Ferdinand, Scholes, Giggs, Valencia, Rooney, Hernandez from the current squad I'm sure will be given a fair few minutes.

G Neville, P Neville, Butt, Beckham and potentially Yorke/others as well.

Who's going to play in goal?

I'd like to see a fair few legends come out and play for the teams, makes it a nice watch

Buffon is playing? Fergie should try and convince him to sign for United

And the likes of Zidane, Cantona and Davids ain't turning up. It's almost the current Juventus squad that plays in Serie A these days

Neville deserves a full house
Ryan Giggs is trusting the United supporters to turn up in force to honour Gary Neville in Tuesday night's testimonial against Juventus.

The Welshman will feature in the Old Trafford friendly against opponents he has plenty of history against and he feels it's important that the former Reds right-back is given a proper send-off.

Although admitting Neville's nerves will probably be jangling ahead of his final appearance, Giggs believes it will be a fitting occasion against the Serie A giants.

"Gary deserves a full house," asserted the United midfielder. "The service he’s given, the person he is, he’s dedicated most of his life to Manchester United.

"He’s grown up watching them as a fan, he’s been here since 11 or 12 and to go on and be the best right-back in his era by a long way is tremendous testimony and hopefully the fans will honour that.

"I can speak from experience of my testimonial that you’re nervous, but, at the end of it, it’s great to share with the fans and celebrate a great career. It’ll be a good night for him because it’ll be the last time he’s playing at Old Trafford. He’s been a great friend and team-mate for me, and a credit to himself and his family."

Strong Juventus squad for OT
Juventus have confirmed they’ll send a strong squad for Gary Neville’s testimonial on Tuesday night, including World Cup winners Alessandro Del Piero, Gianluigi Buffon and Luca Toni.

Other stars like Marco Motta, Giorgio Chiellini, Hasan Salihamidzic, Alberto Aquilani and Milos Krasic will also travel to Manchester.

The Italian club ended the Serie A season in seventh place and were specially selected by Gary Neville to play in his testimonial given the shared history of success between the two sides.

The game kicks off at Old Trafford at 19:30 BST and will also feature United stars past and present, including David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. Tickets are still available.

Juventus travelling squad: Buffon, Motta, Chiellini, Melo, Salihamidzic, Marchisio, Del Piero, Manninger, Aquilani, Barzagli, Traore, Bonucci, Toni, Pepe, Martinez, Krasic, De Ceglie, Storari, Matri, Giandonato, Boniperti, Sorensen
