Its not the midfields fault, we have given the ball away too often through Giggs and Rooney so the midfield hasnt had a chance to use the ball. Too many long balls from deep bypassing our own midfield. Let the midfield have the ball. Actually the midfield is doing well defensively, cutting off the passing options
