Fantastic result. Extremely sloppy in front of goal, but all over the pitch we were absolutely terrific. Anderson, Scholes and Rafael were a joy to watch all night - Rooneys movement was great too, but when on the ball he was less than effective.
Overall I am thrilled. Get in boys, 1 game closer to a fantastic season, no matter what happens in the CL.

I'd say Chelsea are out of it now, 6 points behind us, with us a game in hand. It's now very much a two horse race in my opinion.

couldnt watch any streams..but from what i heard on here, there were offsides given when they werent..
was the officials descisions good today? average? or poor?

We played some great football tonight, should have took more of our chances but ohwell atleast were coming closer and finishing more - plus a clean sheet at the back which is vital for confidence, signs of the old Evra coming back and Rafael stepped in well
Although we struggled to finish the game off and we almost fell into some trouble when Portsmouth began to get back into the game we somehow managed to find another gear and put them to bed.
Still very concerned by the amount of chances we let slip by. Some unlucky decisions by the linesman (although I think they got them right, but very close). Defense looked solid even with 2 changes at RB.
We march on but still need to find our ruthless streak. Ronaldo sparked into life after 60minutes with a very quiet first hour.
