Agreed.

Don't really have much to choose from. Carrick, Rooney and Giggs to be rested, also, I think Dong might be used.
 
You'd be absolutely shitting yourself if you were Aidy Boothroyd or a Watford player round about now wouldnt ya :devil:
 
as long as we don't start Richardson like we did against pompey, it should be an easy win.
 
We should have too much for Watford on any given day, but especially after such a result. After selling Young, they have nothing upfront, should be an easy win.

I reckon we could afford Dong a debut in this game, and Saha needs to play if we are going to have him ready for the run-in. If O'Shea is injured, then i'd play Heinze in the middle.

Fletcher should keep his place too, although we won't have to do as much ball winning, and Scholes uses it much better than Fletch. feck it, Scholes to start.
 
They can't play Foster right? They're fecked then.
 
Play our strongest team its a semi final and a chance to play at the first final at the new wembley.

Rio-Brown should play CB, why change for this game? Evra can do a job at RB, Heinze LB. Heinze at CB won't happen.
Neville is back on tuesday anyway, so it would be stupid to change a Rio-Wes partnership.
Evra did a good job yesterday at RB.

Watford are a shite side and we need to rest our players...... and it would give much needed first team experience for cathcart and dong!!!

Rio and others can always come off the bench if things dont go as planned!!
 
Dont underestimate what Watford can do to us. How many times have we been humbled by underdogs that nobody gave a chance of victory to? We must approach the game with the same desire and ability we showed against Roma.

every single game left this season is vital....

injuries aside we start our best xi and take players off depending on how we're getting on....

Watford are crap, plus Foster can't play, we'll hammer then 4:0 or something. Smith to get a hattrick.
 
I hope Smith gets a game because i can see him getting a couple, will do his confidence great and i feel he could make up for Saha's absence in our push for the title

Having read this thread to double check, can anyone prove to me why Foster can't play on Saturday? As far as I was aware the rule about loan players is a Premier League rule and not an FA cup rule. As Foster has already played for them in the FA cup this year, he can't play for us in the competition unless of course something extraordinary happens to our keepers at the club and the FA give us special dispensation to play him.

Foster has done interviews talking about no being able to play in the semi so thats proof enough

I'm not saying he hasn't, but I haven't seen them. It does however raise the question as to why he isn't allowed. Still this isn't the forum to do so, as I said previously it's not like he can play for us in this years cup, and if he didn't play 100% against us, I wouldn't want him as a United player.

It's agreed in the contract that Watford can't play Foster against us. It's forbidden in the PL as far as I know, but not in the FA-Cup. But his loan-contract covers up that too.
