Manchester United vs. Bursaspor

Does anyone think Rooney will NOT be starting again. I think he will.

Start Rooney, get him a penalty and get the tabloids to shutup for a while.

I think he will be starting saying that if this is all true then, mabe out of the squad is better.

Our remaining post European fixtures are Wolves home, Stoke away, Arsenal home, Blackburn home.

I've have Stoke and Wolves as the easier of those two.

Well obviously Nani isn't going to start against Wolves, I'd honestly think Hargreaves has more chance, but he would be needed for Stoke surely????

United can't take games for granted, United's only wins this season seem to have come from sides in around the relegation zone and Newcastle United.

Also when you include the Portugese games he's been playing in, not many other players need more of a rest ... there's no point burning out Nani particularly considering what's happened to Rooney.

FFUUUUUUUUUU

I can't work out whether Rooney will play or not. It's driving me mad!

just realized sercan yildirim plays for them

FM legend and all that .. sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Taking a step back, it would be a mistake to start him. He's guaranteed to be shit and this is a game we need to win.
To be fair, I'm tired with all this Rooney drama.

Give him a break in next two games, he shouldn't even sit on the bench, then starts against Wolves in Carling Cup, like 4th striker in a big club, because he's our 4th/5th striker at the moment and I hope that name 'Rooney' doesn't really mean he's better than Hernandez and Macheda.

Dropping him completely would be right thing to do from a football viewpoint. But it will obviously just feed the media maelstrom.

Fergies call.

We will win this one. We also need to put a good team, which includes Scholes and Berba, Rio and Vida

he shouldn't start, he is not focused for us on the pitch and he wants out...

It'd be pretty funny if Fergie just claims he has an ankle injury again.

And the last thing we need is more media melodrama.

Let him start. He won't get much easier opposition than this to score against.

Some said West Brom would be easy. It's a CL game. We need to win, no fluffing about trying to tend Rooneys bruised ego.

Well to be fair Valencia went away to them and managed to beat them 4-0 and even Rangers managed to get 1 goal past them. If we can't beat them at OT with or without an out of form Rooney something is badly wrong with us.

Rooney will do more harm than good. It'll be like the other players find themselves as actors in the Wayne Rooney spazzout spectacular, not players in a CL game. He'll bring their game down, not just his own.

Yes, it should not be enough to be an excuse for not winning, but why should Fergie take the risk?

Rooney will play, score 2, and there will be chants of "Fergie, sign him up".

not funny, Citeh fans has been taunting us with that ever since we lost Tevez to them.....

Which says a lot more about them than us....the fact the first thing they think about when Tevez scores is still Manchester United, its rather sad really but not unexpected, this is City fans were talking about, jealous and bitter to the core.
