A caller just phoned in to MUTV now, saying that "Ferguson needs to go to Specsavers". Lou and Quinton looking very uncomfortable as they listen to him.

His new glasses are the ugliest yet, he definitely need to go back to the optometrist and get another pair.

Not sure that's a crucial issue though.

And you know what I meant. You pays your money to get into the game, that is it. People must have had a good clue ahead of time that they would not be seeing much from this game.

Our form has not been great this year, that is true. It would be a little bit silly to suddenly expect us to snap out of it in a game that has no meaning at all for the team in terms of where it finishes in the CL. I did not expect to see a sudden change in form, and not sure why anyone else would have been either.

I was hoping we'd see a few more step up and really make a case for themselves but overall I felt we were worth a point. Rooney and Powell playing so wide was the most frustrating thing about the set up but it was good to see Welbeck have a decent game centrally and Jones got a strong 90 minutes under his belt.
