    Confirmed United squad members
    Sergio Romero, Lee Grant,
Ashley Young, Axel Tuanzebe, Harry Maguire, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw, Brandon Williams,
Scott McTominay, James Garner, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard,
Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood

    I expect our team to be;

    Romero
    Young Taunzebe Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Matic
    Greenwood Lingard Chong
    Martial

there's no way so many senior players are in the squad and they don't start.

Would have liked to see Laird in the squad, but wasnt to be.

Lots of central minded midfielders so we're either using Greenwood wide or Mata/Periera.

I'd have started Greenwood in the 9 and rested martial seeing as he was poor against Everton.

    I'd expect:
    4-3-3

    Romero
    Young Tuanzebe Maguire Shaw
    Matic McTominey
    Mata
    Greenwood Martial Rashford

    still going for a 3-0

I see Ole went with the nuclear option in front, leaving nothing to chance here.

Colchester has scored 1 or fewer goals in 9 of their 13 latest contests. Go on Phil Jones, prove your worth
Oh, please don't say that! How about: "Put in a good shift!"

Genuinely interested, is there a different type of "stream" that is called a "river", or is it simply people trying to be funny?
It's just humourless cnuts thinking they're being cute.

Asking for a stream isn't illegal, despite what some morons think.

    Gone with:

    Romero
    Young Tuanzebe Jones Williams
    Garner Matic
    Mata Andreas Martial
    Greenwood
    ---
Grant; Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Lingard; Chong, Rashford

Maguire started last time when I didn't expect him to, so could again if Ole really isn't trusting Jones at all. Serious issues if he can't be trusted defending against a League 2 side though. Scotty2Hottie and The Rash on the bench if it goes sour, otherwise the subs should probably just be Shaw and Chong for Williams and Martial.

    I went with

    Romero
    Young Maguire Tuanzebe Williams
    Garner Matic
    Andreas Mata Chong
    Greenwood
Don't think we should be picking too many starters but if Maguire is in the squad then he is probably starting. I would not use Martial, Rashford or McTom unless it is desperate.

    Romero

    Young Tuanzebe Jones Williams

    Garner Matic

    Pereira Mata Rashford

    Greenwood

Yeah, after the Alkmaar game I now assume that if Maguire is in a squad, he's probably starting. Now watch as he doesn't start, Jones does and @Samid gets 14 points again.

    Romero
    Dalot - Jones - Tuanzebe - Williams
    Garner - Matic
    Pereira - Lingard - Martial
    Greenwood
Chong played a full match only 48 hours ago so will probably be a halftime sub.

Maguire in the squad. It's been understated how brilliant this man is at keeping himself fit and disciplined to make it on every single squad so far.

Maguire in the squad. It's been understated how brilliant this man is at keeping himself fit and disciplined to make it on every single squad so far.

It hasn't only to do with that - it also has to do with the fact that he bases his game on reading the play and positioning himself, so he doesnt need to throw himself to the ground 20 times during a game, or make a lot of sprints.

Urgh Andreas in the 6 again :(

Ole taking the game far too serious, should have been Garner

    9/11 :( Congrats @Damien and newbie whose name I don't remember

Romero, Young, Maguire, Mata & Pereira should’ve been enough experience, was looking forward to seeing Williams & Garner start. But looking at the positive side, I can see us scoring a lot tonight. Yes we struggle against defensive teams, but the difference in quality is huge.

I got the same. Had Williams and Garner instead of Shaw and Rashford. I can get at most two more points if Jones and Chong come on.

You've got it all won. No chance of gaining five points on you over the course of the rest of the season.

Can't believe Williams isnt starting after having his face plastered all over their twitter

Chill damo. We still have over 30 more games to play this season.
Samid is more in tune with Ole's mindset. Still, if I can finish top three that won't be bad.

    Youth my ass

You can rant all you will on Ole, but you can't say he's not playing youth. Probably wants to put this one to bed so we can eiter swap player after the break, or at 70m.

Cup is cup, you take every game serious. Colchester beat out both Crystal Palace and Tottenham, they've had no joke of a cup run.
