Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Well, apart from Valencia none of our attacking players contributed much there. Rooney has been isolated. Nani seems afraid to do anything but play the simple pass.

Defensively we're doing well, apart from the goal. Carrick and Fletcher have been cutting out every pass and leaving Torres and Gerrard frustrated, though they can't pass right now.

Park needs to come off unfortunately, he has no first touch today at all. Get Giggs on.

He was a wise man was Eric, knew it was time to go. Should've stayed on as a bit part player after a one year sabbatical though.
 
they have contained us well. we are getting the better of them in midfield. they have doubled up on Valencia. Nani has not been effective on the left.

and any crosses that do get through has unfortunately fell to Park and not Rooney.
You just knew Rooney would have scored that header.
 
who fell for us for their goal? I can't make out whether it was Carrick or Vidic? I am talking about the one in the middle of the park before they started the attack.

Yorke would never have been signed had Cantona stuck around. Although Sheringham was the direct replacement to Cantona. Either way, Yorke was like fourth choice signing that summer after the likes of Batistuta, Salas, etc.

Torres is a whiney bitch and WTF was that about with the pen spot, how did he get away with that?
 
Giggs should come on for Park, not Nani. He would be far more effective behind Rooney than on the left.
 
Liverpool are sure turning into a dirty, cheating team. Cant fecking stand Torres now, cnut.

I think if we get Scholes or Giggs on for Park just to add a little bit more quality in the final third i really think we can win it, right now Liverpools 2 holding midfielders arent having much trouble with Park but put someone like Scholes there and i think they will panic.

I dont think SAF will change it at HT but i really think our front 3 are issolated and while park has been good he hasnt linked the midfield to the attacking 3 well today

Kicking the penalty spot like that has to be one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Grow up.
 
I'd not expect any half-time changes, but if things don't change would like to see Giggs for Carrick at some point. Park I'd keep on purely to harass them in possession.

Will be interesting to see the managers' changes in half time, it's like a game of chess.
 
Does anyone have a decent mediaplayer stream? Ie one that doesn't require sopcast or veetle or anything

Not sure we would have had to "split" the Cole Yorke combination as I doubt we would have signed Sheringham and then later Yorke who were both Cantona replacements if the great man himself was to carry on.

I would have like to have seen Cantona carry on but Yorke and Cole were magnficient together and a larger reason why we won the treble. A similar comparison might be if we win the Liverpool 84 treble this season, then was selling Ronaldo the right time last summer given how much we have won..

Rooney turns into a playmaker when he's not getting the service.

Seeing three headers drop into the box when the only player there was park, is upsetting.

Aye, he's looked ok when we've got the ball to him. About taking Park off, it might be one of those games where we only realise his influence when he's not on the pitch any more. He hasn't shown much going forward, but its easy to ignore the fact that Mascherano and Lucas have looked even more useless than normal at feeding their attackers.
 
We are struggling to maintain possession high up the pitch, Berbatov would help.
 
Wouldn't it be ironic if Torres's scuffing up of the spot came back to haunt them at some point in the second half...

Having said that, apart from the first five/ten minutes, I think the defence and Edwin have been pretty much spot on thus far.
