Can't disagree there. Started with the post Ronaldo years, teams figuring they can get something out of games against us if they're aggressive and bothersome with the pressing.
Only way to fix that would be to get a tenacious and mobile box to box midfielder who can also retain possession, pass, and do some pressing of our own. (Read Vidal, but we'd never get him, he'd be worth 60 mil in the current market)
The midfield battle is so critical, if you win that you'll probably win the game (particularly with the individual quality we have up front). It is baffling that Ferguson didn't seem to notice or at least wasn't concerned by how ordinary we are in that area.
