Manchester United vs. Newcastle United

whooh, Fergie finally has the guts to drop Ronaldo. Ruud not in the squad?

i think we will play like this

howard
phil--rio--brown--heinze
fletcher--keano--fortune
smith -------------giggs
------rooney-------

poor line-up imo, not very attacking minded. phil as a right back? what's with silves? again too defensive, especially when we're not able to score...

This truly is fecking baffling. We havent even got a mid week game, I dont understand why he's going it, I really dont.

Why no Ruud?
Why not Wes at right back?
Why no Ronaldo?
WHY O'SHEA...generally.
Why put Kleberson on the bench if he's more attack minded than Fortune or Fletcher?!
Why does he think that midfield can create anything?
Why why why...

Sigh...

Dropping Ruud is really going to help stop these 'rumours' about him leaving.

They say that Ruud picked up an ankle injury in training today.

The season is over already, doesn't matter who starts, we'll finish 3rd regardless.

We know that but we want to finish the season on a winning high to take us into next season.

Newcastle's right-back is making his debut, should be fun day for Giggsy :)

Sorry, just the last few weeks have been rather depressing and I just want the season to be over :nervous:

And the matches now are quite meaningless, so why does Smith only get to start a game now?

------------------------ Given ---------------------
-- Carr ---- Boumsong ----- O'Brien ----- Elliot ----
------------------ Ramage ------ N'zogbia --------------
------ Ambrose --------------------------- Milner -----
------------------ Shearer ------ Ameobi ----------------

We should be able to beat those lot, "should" being the key word.....

Yeah we do. I don't think any United lineup will do that though. Somewhere in their subconcious, since it was clear the title battle was over, they just don't give a rats ass.

0-0 today, maybe 1-0 to one of the teams.

Smith will not make a difference as he not a goalscorer :(

Atleast my doom mongering is original!

Unlike your blubbing about Mavuba at any given oppertunity!

Moaning about lineups original? Right. Give the man a medal.

And we're complaining about our midfield - Ramage? N'Zogbia? Ambrose?

Ambrose is an ok player. The others i havent heard of much but zobia or whatever is rated pretty highly i think. Still, we should dominate possession with ease and i think rooney and smith will have a fun day up front

Ronaldo played really well last weekend. If he's been dropped as a punishment for constantly diving Fergie should say so....would anyone blame him? Otherwise dropping an in form player seems a bit odd.

Thankfully, Newcastle isn't Everton. They left so many gaps when we played against them last week, even this side should be able to get a result today. (fingers crossed). :nervous:

Why would Fergie want to say Ronaldo dive in public?
