Manchester United vs Perth Glory (Sat 13th July, 12:00 UK time)

Young on the left at the start of the season it's then.

Ashley Young is eternal I guess. He's going to play whatever signings we make.
It could be just a twinge in which he case he did well come off as soon as he felt it.

Bissaka is immense defensively. Yet to see how he'll contribute offensively in the upcoming games though.

Wan-Bissaka is so fun to watch. Anyone that tries to pass him just gets stopped

Good showing from the boys, very happy with this first casual pace game.

2-0 FT
FT 2-0

Really good 2nd half performance. Gomes in particular was excellent.

I hope Greenwood will have chances this year. I'd really love him on the right.

Greenwood, James & Gomes are ready to be involved. Chong isn’t.
Agree with what you say about Greenwood, Gomes and Chong but you can't make a judgement about Garner based on one pile-driver into the back of the net. We'll probably have a better idea by the end of the tour though, hopefully he gets more time against Leeds

The only thing i want out of a friendly is no injuries, hope shaw is fine

AWB and Gomes were our best 2 players imo. They were both excellent! 2nd half very good. Not at all happy with 1st half

Nothing much can be taken from such game against such opposition but we played some nice football in second half.

Gomes, Greenwood and James impressed a lot. Bissaka looks as we expected in terms of defending skills, yet to see his offense but hopefully is as good.

Good goal for Garner's confidence too.

Chong and Martial were poor.

Hard to really evaluate that game frankly given how poor Perth were (understandably). We'll have a much better idea of our level of play against Leeds who will be a significantly tougher opponent.

Plenty of positives though, but lets see if it can be replicated against Leeds.

What we had second half are players that can take players out the game with a dribble. Crucial against a wall of defenders. Gomes and Greenwood both provided this.
Entertaining second half. Uninspired first.

Good second half, plenty of positives to take from that.

Mason looks good but nervous and Gomes too. Not sure on Chong though. Hopefully second game the team play has improved.

Let's be honest pre-season friendlies tell you next to nothing.
