Well, we lost, and i lost money, there was misery for some minutes i can tell you ;). But frustration then, whatever, you got the point well enough.


Looking ahead, what's the deal with the injuries to Saha, Giggs and Gary?

You'll have to forgive any ignorance of mine on this one, but is there any danger that one or more of them could miss the Pompey game?

Saha should be fit, the two others are doubtful.

I'll go with the same team posted above and USdevils prediction, lets win and put some more pressure on Chavski who go to Spurs.

Difficult game: Gota be careful with Kanu who is having an Indian summer. Pedro Mendes has been scoring from losng distance as well.

Difficult slugfest. Pompey plays a mixture of Bolton long ball as well as some slick African-S.American flair upfront with Kanu and Benjani upfront. We will do well to get 3 points here. We'll nick it 2-1 with goals from Rooney & Scholes

I'm a bit worried about pompey...we have a spotty record againts them I am a little consoled by the fact they can only beat us when thery're at the bottom of the table...it all depends on if we play bollocks like we did againts Copenhagen

Fantasy Team > United ;).
That reminds me, last week while chelsea where playing sheffield united some dickhead was wetting him self every time chelsea went forward cause he had some of their players in his fantasy team. Things like, '

Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis admits he's desperate to beat Manchester United this weekend.

Chelsea-mad Davis said: "Going there means nothing special to me. Just another game, although a tough one because United are playing well at the moment and a good result would obviously delight us.

"But it would be nice to get something, a real bonus, to help Chelsea win the league even though I believe they will do that in any case.

"I know people have been criticising the way Chelsea play but it is effective and I try to watch them as much as I can - especially in the Champions League.

"My memories of playing at Old Trafford are a bit hazy. It seems a long time since I was there with Fulham when we had Louis Saha and he scored twice but we lost 3-2 in the first game after getting promotion.

"Saha has become a great player with United and it is no surprise because you could always see he had a great amount of talent - as they all do at United.

Pompey have a pretty good midfield, so it's vital for us that Scholesy starts. If we can manage to keep the lion's share of the possession and control the tempo of the game, we should win this comfortably.

I like being causious, but every week people are saying, ''oooh tough game could scrap a win, probably a draw.'' and then we go on to rape them.

this will be my first game of the season, already been let down 3 times so to make up for it the guy is giving me the ticket for £20 (bonus) which means i can increase my beer allocation. happy days!
 
2-1 to us. rooney 3rd min, vidic 42nd min, mendes 80th min. any cole and ronnie sent off for fighting with each other in 90th min.
