Don't see much wrong with what he said. What's he supposed to say? He's hardly going to say 'what a shame, we'll look forward to next year folks'.
Deep down he knows City have one hand (and 3 fingers!) on the trophy, but he's not going to say that in public at OT. He's trying to give the fans something to cheer about.
Yes, City will very likely win because of their home form, but are you telling me that you don't hold even a teeny, tiny bit of hope?
