Manchester United vs West Ham

No disgrace then...didn't think it would be anything less than a loss, but some encoraging signs for us from what a mate has just told me who was at the game.

Says it all when your lot can bring on Rooney, alongside Carlos, Ronaldo and Berbatov, and the three best players for us tonight were a couple of teenagers and a centre back in Collins who has been out for about four months injured.

Congrats on the result...seems like the days of us owning you are temporarily over!

Very good game tonight.. Berbatov, Ronnie, Anderson were all great and for Nani+Tevez to get a 95min game was also very important. Tevez made a couple of chance to himself but failed to cash in... But Rio has to get back to world-class mode before sat. ´cause Hull is more dangerous upfront.. Ì believe that the Everton game was still in his mind tonight. Vidic = so we don't need to panic any time soon..

Bring on Hull City FC!!

Nothing to see here . . . move along please.

feck off
fecking annoying phrase. cnut

What's with so many fans leaving OT early?

you need to ask?

had that been against any of about 12 other PL teams we'd've probably thrown 2 points away like we did at Everton. West Ham were one of the poorest teams I've seen at OT for years. They didn't have a shot in the first half and not much better in the 2nd.

Overall a decent team performance in the first half, but we lost control of the game for periods in the second half, much like we did at Everton last week. We need to keep the tempo up forthe whole ninety minutes because against better teams we'll get punished for allowing them to have so much possession.

I thought Fletcher was brilliant in the middle today. He got himself about all over the place and really worked hard. He broke up quite a few of their attacks in the first half as well. He may not have the classs of Hargreaves, but he does deserve more credit then he gets because he's really upped his game this season. He seems like he's not content to be just a squad player and is really trying hard to impress Fergie and keep his place in the team.

Some of Anderson's long range passing was very Scholes-like today. Excellent stuff from such a young lad. I get excited thinking about just how good he will become if he fulfils his potential. Still needs to work on his shooting though.

It's great to see Ronaldo scoring yet another brace and to actually see him celebrating his goals. The skill on the touchline from Berbatov was sublime and then the simple pass and finish, they make it look easy at times. Some of the attacking flair was a joy to watch in the first half. The second half was quite poor in comparison but West Ham never really threatened our goal in fairness.

Another three points in the bag and another home fixture next against Hull City. We really need to start racking up the wins at home and turn Old Trafford into a fortress again. We want teams thinking they've lost even before the game has started.

Couple of points...

Rafael is the fecking dogs bollocks. Propper little warrior, snapping away, a bit too eager to slide in....and clearly doesn't want to be a right back given how he was wondering around the field :D

Fletcher is actually really quite good

Evras little Ninja jump near the end was hillarious  shame he missed the ball like
