Also frustrating that as soon as Alexis starts to find his feet and finally look effective in attack,he gets dropped completely from the squad

Fellaini, Fred, Lingard, Rashford, Valencia are not first choice.

Neither is Jones, but he is starting because of an injury so wont count him in the list of fringe players getting games.

This is far from our first choice XI. This is the sort of games where we have to use our squad or these players will never get games.

It doesnt matter if they are fringe players/squad players whatever you want to call them. Valenica, Jones, Matic, Fellaini, McTominay have no business representing Manchester Utd

Why the feck are both Matic and Fellani playing? Neither of them should in the line up against Young Boys. I don't see why Peirera isn't starting in a game like this.

Jose got the Caf blood pressure up

    We'll sail through.

    Shit boring lineup again.
A good excuse for Mou if we drew or lose this game.

Jones is back start ahead of Bailly. Yeah, Jones is our future..
Pogba is rested, precaution for injury I assume, at least bench as backup option.
Matic still not rested. Young Boys is a top team, we need three defensive covers..
Front 3 is interesting. Thankfully Lukaku is bench for this.
Valencia is still captain. So deserve..

For some reason, many players magically are out of this game: Herrera, Dalot, Sanchez, Darmian, Young, Rojo.
:rolleyes:Rojo is hardly a surprise, but the rest is suspicious. Lindelof is expected.

Time for Fred to shine. Playmaking/creativity is his sole responsibility with this boring midfield lineup. Would ease it helping to shoulder the responsibility if Mata playing.

What the feck does Matic have to do to get dropped???? Uuuuuuggggghhhhhh....
glad he’s seen the light with lukaku though. He’s been abysmal, but this might be the standard of match where he could have grabbed a goal or 2 and got some confidence back. We are officially a shambles again.

    Jose is trolling

Fellaini, Lingard and Rashford are far from fringe players. My only problem is that midfield tbh considering there's actual fringe players in Herrera and Pereira. There's Mata too.

We won 3-0 away?! They let in three goals away to Valencia and Juventus. We’re not necessarily going to beat them convincingly, heck Bayern drew Ajax at home and Liverpool lost to Red Star with full forces, but these are a bunch we should beat 9 out of 10 when it matters
And we mostly had Pogba to thank for that, guess where he's at now.

Lukaku on the bench. I would have him on the bus to be honest, he will probably miss the bench when trying to sit on it, if current form is anything to go by.

I would have him on the bus too... But then as he is the size of a bus, he would be inside himself.... Which is a bit wrong really.

How is that even relevant? If you're going by that then we'll never be able to field a full 11.

So looking at our bench. It's likely we will see Mata, Lukaku and McTominay on at some point tonight.

Feel anxious for Rash and Martial. You just know that they are likely to get some shitty service from our midfielders and if the worse happens and we lose, he'll be throwing them under the bus.

Given that this is the lineup, I am worried about Rashford missing sitters.. With Lukaku still down in the dumps, he better step up
