I disagree. If that is bouncing back... well I haven't seen a ball. As fans we can be very shortsighted. That somehow a win makes everything okay. That was bloody awful. Bloody awful. A goal at the end, does not change that. A victory does not change that.

I was really torn when we scored. Jose feels vindicated that we played dire football and just scraped a 1-0 win (it was also handball by Fellaini so we were lucky there) against one of the worst sides we've faced this year.

If you follow the match day threads you will know that when the forum is unanimous that the team is the right one and the one they have been looking forward to, it’s usually a drab 0-0. When a team is picked that looks absolutely miserable and people bitch, moan and expect the worse, we normally play some good stuff and win by a few goals. The post match threads is then full of posts saying how it doesn’t matter how well *scape goat* played, it was the wrong side.

I am glad I stayed at home, looks like I wasn't the only one with the amount of empty seats. The game was poor and the best side on the night lost in my opinion. You have to say we were clueless for most of the game and lack tempo and movement. The fact Fellaini has saved us again with a 91st goal, is not easy to accept for the football purists but he is effective in these situations, just thinking though it said in commentary that Jose was about to sub him before Valencia got injured, so luck was shining down on Jose tonight, it cant carry on though..
