Hey, quit using The Welbeck Defence. Thats ours.

Pretty anonymous again tonight. Usurped (by far) by Müller, Kroos, Khedira and even Schürrle, who only played 45 minutes.
Enigma of a footballer.
He wasn't anything special tonight but to write an article criticising him after that is absurd.
His finishing is pretty terrible isn't it?
Christ, I'm beginning to feel like I'm the only man who hasn't been brainwashed.
Either that or I am the only one that has been.
He still managed to be ridiculously poor in a team that won 7-1. Weird fecker, needs dropping for the final.
I'm erecting a shrine to him in my house in response to this article.
And I'm not sure I've seen in the flesh a better play-maker, technically. I'm sure there is one somewhere.
Perfectly putI thought Ozil had a good game. Best I've seen him play in ages. Which is no great surprise, up against Sunday league defending. Still looked a level below most of Germany's other players, though. Him and Klose and the left back (whowever the feck his name was) stood out as the only German players not looking like gods amongst mortals. Kroos, Pigsticker, Khedira, Lahm and Muller were fricking sensational. Ozil was not.
He's doing that for most of the tournament in my opinion. Really surprised about it. He's nowhere near his best in a creative sense and his finishing is still horrible but he's fulfilling his role out wide very well, better than I expected. He's no liability without the ball, his stamina isn't a problem at all and in possession he's still very good at keeping the ball and distributing a few final balls from time to time. The magic is mostly gone, but we've got a solid winger instead and I'd say this is exactly what the team needs at the moment. It's a bit sad because I love watching him play in full flow but it's better for the team this way and maybe he gets his chance to shine in the final.Did I dream or was he working harder than usual when it came to defending ? Specially in the first half.
Schürrle was more effective based on the beautiful pass to Götze for the winning goal, but I don't think he put in an overall better performance than Özil. Either way, both were effective. Not Germany's best attacking player, Schurrle was better than him.
Before the tournament, Löw encouraged Özil to change his body language. I think he's done just that in this World Cup. IMO, his work ethic has improved under Wenger, but he was more consistent at defending in this World Cup, though it's a small sample size.Doesn't matter if he was unlucky or not during the WC. What I expected from him was a tough body language and hard-working performances at 110% until the 90th or even 120th minute and Özil delivered exactly that.
He plays for Arsenal.
Maybe you could stick his winners medal in your bare trophy cabinet and claim it as your own.
Is there a wikipeadia page that shows the past 9 years difference between the two clubs?
You do realise you're coming across like a complete idiot here, yeh?
Just how many breaches of the rules have you managed to get away with in the past week or so?You do realise you're coming across like a complete idiot here, yeh?
