Villa kick off and we are underway
We have started with Park out on the right and Ronaldo on the left.
Barry tries to find Young with a crossfield ball, but O'Shea cuts it out. United's counter attack is broken up, ball finds its way to Young, who tries to release Agbonlahor but it runs through to VDS.
Four minutes in United are yet to create anything, Villa look up for the fight, but so do United; most of the play thus far has been near the halfway line
Ronaldo cuts in from the left and tries to find space for the shot, but is tackled. Agbonlahor is then brought down by Rio.
Agbonglahor chips on with his foot from about 15 feet out after a freekick. It was a weak effort though straight at VDS
Free kick from deep is flicked on by Laursen, and Agbonlahor can't connect properly with the volley, hitting a tame shot that bobbles to VDS.
Evra gets past Reo Coker, I think this may be a recurring event, his cross is deflected
Nice link up between Evra Ronaldo and Tevez, wins United a throw in deep in the Villa half. Villa clear though and try to counter, but misplace a pass and it's another United throw.
Villa's game plan is to sit deep and release Agbonlahor on the counter.

10 minutes played and no real chances.
Carrick misplaces another pass, this time sending a cross field ball straight out of play.
Milner with a poor tackle on Ronaldo as he did on Evra early seems as though he will get into the book sooner than later

Ashley Young sends in a low cross from the left, and Evra decides to opt for safety first, clearing for a corner. Corner comes to nothing.
Ball breaks for Ronaldo, who cuts in and smashes a vicious shot, which is beaten away for a corner by Friedel.
United have yet to stamp out any sort of dominance on the game, reckon Anderson will be in sooner than lateraround the 60 minute mark if this continues

Vidic meets the corner but it goes well wide.
Tevez fouls Petrov after he nearly had a chance set up by Rooney
Rooney almost releases Tevez with a brilliant ball from the wing, but the pace of the ball is too much for Tevez, who eventually gives away a free kick.
Foul on Park which was debatable, United were looking to break and had numbers
Park shoulders Barry off the ball, meaning United outnumber Villa, but the referee strangely blows for a foul. Fergie not impressed.
Reo-Coker tests VDS from distance. He makes a good save at his near post.

Ronado wins a free kick about 25 yards out. Good position this.
