Well folks I decided to bring one out for y'all. Anyone else interested pm me within 30 minutes of the match. I will choose and preference will be given to others(Sharky McShark who called the 3-2 Villa match with me last year and Eric's Collar who called the 5-2 Spurs match with me last year; Begs the question are we in for another instant classic) who I have called games with before, but give it a shot a shot those two may be playing with sheep or something for all I know.

(I'd like to thank Bryan Goggs for his support)

You are in, pregame prediction from you?

 I wouldnt be able to type for an after midnight kickoff haha, but for me it's a 9:30 am biotch, hmmm sangria and screwdrivers it is.

It'll be interesting to see how United lineup, I could see 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, the more I think about it I don't want Carrick starting in this match, SAF has given him a few chances this year and he has been shit, not that I think he is shit by any means, but I dont want him playing in this one. I'd rather Anderson and/or Scholes depending on the formation along with Berba, Wazza, and Nani in the front three.

In the end I think it will be 2-0 United, with a massively disappointed lillywhite not on the board for a while.

I think we'll go with a 442 with Nani Scholes Fletcher and Park in the middle, and Berba and Rooney up top. The most important thing for us to do is not underestimate them in their Modricless state.

As an aside, I'd like to see Park get a run of games in our new look team - he sacrificed himself a lot these last two seasons for Ronaldo and he's not purely the workhorse without finesse that people seem to think he is - I'd guide those people to go back and watch some of our games from 05/06 and 06/07, where we see Park regularly beating his marker and putting in quality crosses.

That's why I think a 4-3-3 is the most important thing to start with as long as Rooney and Berbatov also start. It will give our midfielders a game protect them, and let them dominate. I think Palacios is one of the best CMs in the EPL in terms of influence he reminds me of a Viera type more than anyone else out there, Diaby  . Why not overrrun their midfield, see if we can get the lead from it, and if not bring on an attacking player maybe Owen and some midfielder who isnt starting after 60' if the game isnt in hand.

I'm still dodgy as to where I'm going to watch this because of the ESPN thing, so am no addition in this case. But I'll help out in future if I can.

Sharky McShark - well done on last years.

Tell your mate to feck off, what does it matter if you have a laptop in front of you

It might be on a bit of a delay(30 secs or so) but I can take it myself pm if you want to help

Spurs take the opening kickoff and do feck all

Defoe score within the first minute with a bicycle kick

Scholes with an effort from 30 yards wide but had space to finish it

"Spurs always have a habit of going ahead of United"

Rooney could have had a chance but poor first touch, so goal kick

Free kick to Spurs after a decent run of play by Utd although Roon is dropping quite deep

Crouch with a good effort on goal, easy save for Foster though

Good save by Cudicini after a back header from Berba

Corluka raised his hands to Evra, seen players sent off for that

Nani looks like he is missed, Fletch has been forced to play on the wing

In fairness Spurs have done feck all since scoring

United are turning up the heat, no great chances yet

Good chance for Defoe, hit wide

Yellow for a foul on Berbatov, Spurs appear as they will have a player sent off today

Giggs has scored a stunner off of the free kick, slight deflection I think

1-1 good guys equalize. no touch from the wall

"No substitute for class, and Giggs has it by the bucket load"

Good tackle on Evra should ve been a corer though

Berbatov with a great effort, excellent save by by Cudicini

Corner

Giggs takes a poor corner

Huddelstone with an effort well wide, Spurs first chance in 30 minutes since the goal

fearhgal yes you are in

Rooney well saved

Berbatov off the line

Berba over the bar could have put United ahead there

United are turning the screws

Unless you have any objections Alex I'll give a hand with this:

Half an hour gone, and United are going quite well. Berbatov's missed a couple of chances in a row, had a chance from the penalty spot with Cudicini stranded and Bassong blocked, and it managed to come back to him and he put it over the ball.

Only a matter of time before United score again, Paddy Power BIR had Spurs odds on a few minutes ago, cnuts.

Anderson to Rooney but called offside very very close there
