they have generally done ok - Beating Chelsea, West Ham, Fulham and Celtic. Drawing against Everton. We are the first side to actually beat them in normal time (everton won on penalties).

I do agree that in general an All Star team will lack the team work and understanding of a normal side (See The Lions vs the Southern sides as a further example) but this MLS All Star team has a decent history in these games. Thought they played well enough for the most part last night.

and as has been pointed out the MLS lads have usually had the better of the English teams they'd faced, until last night.
tbh I was amazed at how good we were (after watching the KC and the Philly games) and how flat the MLS lads were.
great to see our youngsters gelling so well.
 
Oh I forgot I wanted to relay funny thing in warm ups. Scholes, Berba and Gibson were basically warming up by passing to one another - they were doing it for a bit and then Gibbo for some reason decides to look away and Berba passes it right at him and hits him in the thigh it looked like but, Gibbo was bent over in pain. Berba has a laugh at him and it looked like he was saying - what you get for not watching.

Then after shaking it off, he goes to get the ball and another ball comes from behind somewhere and whacks him in the back. Poor guy had a look of wtf? why me?
