Are you watching City?
That's a big trophy.
Our players don't give a feck they won, if City won it, they'd be organising a parade from America to Manchester.
Cleverly getting big media attention. Is he the next Becks?![]()
Good game...lots of potential out there. Only the defending looked suspect at times.
It was an exhibition game and they were up 2-0 pretty fast. I'm mostly concerned with the set piece defending. Good to Macheda get two though.
I wish Fabio wasnt made of matchsticks
And fecking hell Gibson, i felt the earth shake when he 'jogged' onto the field, hardly professional is it, strolling on the pitch nearing the end of a pre season tour about 5 stone heavier than the rest, sort it out lad.

He did get away when his grandfather died. Maybe he's packed a few on in the last week while mourning?
Just home from watching my first United game live - it was with my son and am grinning ear to ear.
Only drawback was this fan with a "Duncan Edwards is Alive" or something like that t-shirt that kept pointing to it and trying to call attention to himself in front of me.
Atmosphere was kinda eh in no singing and chanting not that I contributed but still - was a great great feeling to watch them.
You mean there weren't the odd annoying twats blowing Vuvuzelas ? I had that at the game in Kansas City.

can i have 6 random numbers?
from reading this thread this morning, slightly annoyed that i DIDNT stay up late to watch the game.
I think you're all over-rating the All-Star team. All-Star teams tend to be a bit crap because they're thrown together over a very short period of time and don't get any chance to work out each other's games. Plus they're American and we all know Americans aren't good at football.
Nine times out of ten I'd back the club side over the all-star side. The only thing stopping me from predicting a comfortable United victory is the fact that our back four also looked as though they'd never played a game together in the last tour game (probably because they hadn't!)
Might be a bit different if this team has loads of "team USA" internationals in it, just back from the world cup? If so, they'll be a tougher nut to crack but I'd still fancy a United to hump the American international team more often than not.
Cleverly done, you might say. What a goal by Cleverly.
Heh. To think I got accused of being on a WUM when I said this yesterday afternoon.
