You can't give it to someone who only played for ten minutes, no matter how well they did.

Agree. Don't know why Veron has also got a vote. He only played 5 minutes. If he got this award it's unfair to the players who have fought for 90 minutes in this match.

That's a very, very good pass from Veron, but it is special mainly because it brought us the winner. Over 90 minutes Scholes definitely worth the award. Okay, if people really want to award the MOM to the person related to the winning goal, why not award it to Forlan, who at least played 10 minutes more than Veron and directly scored the goal? Therefore, to vote Veron as MOM is ridiculous, no matter view it from which angle.

Diego. Not only did he score the winner, he looked like very dangerous the whole time he was on. I had a feeling he could change the match.

I think it's fair to give it to late subs, since to me, the award signifies the most outstanding and/or influential player. Like I said, Diego looked like he had the potential to work some magic as soon as he came on.
