4 goals left to equal Rooney's best scoring seasin in terms of goals in club competitions. Ridiculous, scoring goals for fun an scores something like 0.8 goals per game, one of the best wide forwards around.
More trying to say that this guy already scores more than our best striker in the past 10 years, but Neymar has 17 goals in La Liga, 10 in Copa del Rey and 3 in CL, according to ESPN, do the math.Eh? Neymar highest club season tally is 43 goals (at Santos), Rooney's 34. Either way Neymar is currently on 26 goals, so he'd need 8, not 4, to equal Rooney's best this season.
He only has 6 in the Copa del ReyMore trying to say that this guy already scores more than our best striker in the past 10 years, but Neymar has 17 goals in La Liga, 10 in Copa del Rey and 3 in CL, according to ESPN, do the math.

Sorry..MATHS
Will be regarded as the best player in the world once Ronaldo and Messi decline (whenever that even happens), that's my prediction.
The Barca president has compared his signing to RM signing Beckham, as they both are very attractive to media and sponsors.
I actually think Neymar is the closest player to get close to Becks branding wise, he just has that something extra special in this regard which even Ronaldo and Messi don't have.
Barca are going to profit from him for at least a decade. We should really sign the next Neymar.
I think Depay would be a good try, he seems to have it all!
Or him, yep. But I don't think we'll get him, have a strong feeling he'll go to RM or PSG.That's exactly what Pogba will be for us if we sign him in the summer. He's the poster boy of France and I'm sure he can be just as marketable as Neymar. £60million for Pogba is also better than £100million for Neymar as well.
LA Galaxy and the MLS always done it with Beckham to make the transfer sound more flash. That number actually includes part of his wages for 5 seasons. Must be the first player ever that has his wages included in the transfer cost estimation, edit: and any possible sanctions not yet confirmed.
reached 30 goals in the season today
Crazy
It's great when you consider he isn't stat padding (scoring the 4th or 5th goal in high scoring trashings or in easy Cup games). He has scored the opening goal for Barca 14 times this season and he's scoring mostly against the upper table clubs and in big games:
Neymar vs. top teams (Real Madrid, Atletico, Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal, PSG, Manchester City) this season:
19 games
1597 minutes
14 goals
3 assists
He also doesn't take penalties and freekicks even though he is great at it (very rarely does he get to take one like against Sevilla the other day and then he scored).
Great talent. Just turned 23 and has still lots of room for improvement.
Those are some tremendous numbers right there. He's the heir apparent to Messi.
For me he's actually the natural heir to Cristiano. He will never have the passing and playmaking abilities of Messi, I'm sure of that. Messi was already a better passer when he was 19. Even though Neymar is a great dribbler Messi's close control also remains different class. He has great speed, movement, trickery and finishing though. He also got the off the pitch Justin Bieber marketing appeal going for him. Perez still must be fuming that he couldn't land him.
Wasn't that long ago the discussions were about how he wasn't as good as Bale
Neymar is arguably a blend of both in that he can beat players through a mere dip of the shoulder when he wants and he goes on several usually highly successful slaloming runs against all manner of defenders.
He has the flair of Ronaldo but superior close control and better agility. Less explosive though, a young Ronaldo was an absolute beast when he ran at players but Neymar when he gets going is a joy to watch.
In terms of play making Neymar is in a different league to Ronaldo but obviously not close to Messi yet will only get better in this regard, he can control games and doesn't look out of place when he drifts into central areas especially for Brazil. He has a good eye for a pass and is a playmaker as well as a wing forward.
His mentality doesn't get talked about much but considering the pressures he must face, he seems so chilled and nearly always performs when the pressure is on.
