Is there a list of our injured players and when they are expected back ?

There's dates in the injuries, injuries, injuries thread. No date of return for Rafael but basically we have this set of players for the next two games, other than possibly an RVP return on New Year's day. Any more injuries and we would be seriously struggling for Spurs.

@ Buckoo - Jones is out for two weeks.

Equally important as the Hull game with our rivals - apart from City - having some tough games tomorrow/day after tomorrow.

With a win and a bit of luck, we could be fifth by Sunday night & two points behind fourth.

At least Carrick is back. We've definitely missed his stability in the center.

Against Norwich, the positions in which I have totally no idea who will start there are as follows:

Right Back
Center Back x2
Left Back
Center Midfield
Left Wing
Forward

De Gea, Carrick, Young, Rooney are the only ones in which I'm 99% will start.

Plus, I can actually see RVP returning into the squad for this one.

Almost the entire team picks itself. The only question is who will start alongside Carrick in the middle.

De Gea

Smalling
Vidic
Evans
Evra

Carrick
Giggs/Cleverley

Young
Rooney
Kagawa

Hernandez

This is what the lineup will be. How long is Rafael out for?

Taking into account the likely injuries, I'd probably choose:

De Gea
Fabio---Smalling---Evans---Buttner
Carrick---Cleverley
Young---Kagawa---Giggs
Hernandez
A decent bit of squad rotation with Rooney and Evra rested ahead of Spurs; Kagawa, Hernandez and Giggs should be fresh (and of course Fabio). The questions I'd have about that line-up would be if Carrick is fit enough to play 90 minutes (though Fletcher would be on the bench) and whether Buttner can provide enough in the attack to compensate for his defensive form (though Evans/Giggs/Cleverley should hopefully be enough to cover him). There should be enough goals in Young, Kagawa, Hernandez and Giggs but have Rooney on the bench as insurance. No RVP even if he's cleared for this one - Spurs should be his return game in that case.
In reality I expect Smalling at right-back with either Vidic or Rio paired with Evans (or possibly Evans dropped to the bench in favour of the classic partnership), and Rooney plus a striker with Kagawa pushed wide.

I guess Giggs hasn't played for a while, he should start. After all, he scored the winner two seasons ago.

Rooney deserves a break, but I don't think we can afford that until RVP returns.

Think Van Persie will be on the bench for this one. Would love to see Zaha and Fabio start. Evra was back to last years form so a rest will do him good. Fletcher I don´t think will be playing sadly after this long out. Legend Giggs will be there me thinks but I want to give Ando Another chance, probably his last. Young has raised his game the last two matches but I´d like to see Januzaj on the left and Welbz need a rest too.

--------------------------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------------------------------------

Smalling-----------------------------Rio---------------------Vidic------------------------------------------Fabio

Zaha--------------------------------Carrick---------------------Anderson--------------------------------Januzaj

-------------------------------------------------Kagawa------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------Rooney, cant leave him out even though prob needs a rest aswell....--------

Subs to come on if were struggling

RVP Hernandez and Giggsy

de Gea
Smalling--Evans--Vidic--Evra
Carrick--Cleverley/Giggs
Young--Rooney--Kagawa
Hernandez

or

Carrick--Cleverley
Young--Kagawa--Giggs
Rooney

I'd love for Evra and Rooney to be rested but we need Rooney plus I'm pretty sure Fabio won't get a chance at LB. Evra has appeared tired to me in his last few games plus seemed to have picked up a knock in each of them.

you can't rest Rooney with VP out. That'd be asking for trouble.

We've not done too well at Norwich away for a while. It took a last min goal for a win a couple of years back.

I thought this one would be harder than Hull away, and we almost bungled that one.

However, Norwich did just lose to Fulham at home. So might be a good time to rub their noses in it.

Our last 3 games at Carrow road we've lost twice and won once with a last minute Giggs winner. I'd love us to win by any means necessary.

We need a two or preferably a three goal lead just to have the luxury of replacing Rooney early in the second half or so. I really don't trust us holding on to a goal lead without him being on the pitch at the moment.

That last minue Giggs goal was mental!! I agree with Hernandez-BFA, we are always very nervy until we have a two ot three goal cushion.I say go for it from the off and don't let them settle.A similar approach to the Fulham game please.

I agree. He does everything for us. If we went 2 goals up, I still wouldn't sub him off unless there's about 10 minutes left. If we were 3 up then I'd sub him off but I just can't see that happening in an away game.

Recently been a banana skin fixture for us. As much as we'd like to rest players we're not in a position to. Every game is a must win.

I think this will be tough. They always play well against us, but Fergie always sat back against them for some reason. Would like to see Kagawa start tomorrow. 0-1 United.
Come on Moyes!

Back 4 picks itself. Will be Smalling, Evans, Vidic and Evra.
In midfield Cleverley will start with one of Fletcher or Carrick. My guess is Carrick.

I'm not sure, with Fabio on the bench vs Hull - clearly he isn't completely blanked out. I think there's a good chance we'll use him.

I think this will be an easier game than the last two away to Norwich. We didn't have Rooney when we won 1-2 and lost 1-0. They're a pretty poor team and I'd be surprised if we don't pick up three points.

Was it Norwich we beat in the cup when Fabio came on with the late goal with his first touch?

I would love to see Fabio come in for Rafael, as said, it won't happen, Smalling will play there but it's something that I think every fan would love to see.

I'm off to catch some sleep before my alarm goes off at 2am for this one. Lets just hope we get the job done and finish the year on a high.

Oh great, another 3:00 kick off.

Great for the match goers but a pain in the ass otherwise. The rivers I have are absolutely woeful, if someone would be so kind as to share theirs in a PM that'd be much appreciated.

I've put Young in my fantasy team...

There's a sentence I didn't think I'd be using this season.

Savage on BBC
"Could be interesting team news for Manchester United. No Rooney? No RVP? You heard it here first. Or could I be wrong?
"That could be a huge blow for United, Rooney was magnificent at Hull!"

If Rooney is out, it's going to be very tough to get a win today. Hopefully it's bollocks.

Kagawa behind welbeck if Rooney is indeed out.

I wonder if Rvp miraculously makes the bench....

Haven't we already beaten them without Rooney this season though, or did he feature in that league cup game that we battered them in?

Robbie Savage in talking out of his arse shocker.

You'd hope so but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Young behind Welbeck.
