Norwich City vs. Manchester United

We'l need one of Rooney or RVP for this.

Should be Kagawa and Januzaj on the wings with Valencia as RB

Fellaini behind Welbz/Hernandez?

He's been proven quite dangerous in the role. Or is he on the crock list too at the mo?

Out for 6 week.s Wrist surgery.

Rooney out will make this game harder than it needs to be. Everything decent this season has gone through him, so without him we'll be much less of a threat.

But the amount of times he, van Persie and Carrick were meant to be injured earlier in the season according to twitter and such means I'm not convinced he's out injured until I see that teamsheet.

If Rooney is out this will make it that much harder. Struggling to see how we will create enough chances to score assuming Januzaj is going to be rested.

We could do with kagawa stepping up

is all this Rooney stuff coming from Robbie Savage! Bloody hell.

But does Rooney ever play at Norwich? Missed the last 2 there I think?

A win here means that we'll have collected 12 points from our past 4 league games. That'd be very nice indeed.

If Rooney is out, Moyes may go for Danny/Hernandez up top with Kagawa behind. Unless RVP makes a return of course. I can also see Giggs in CM alongside Carrick.

Kagawa to send through balls to Hernandez all day long and Hernandez to score as many as he wants with the Norwich defence being helpless would be lovely.

would love to disbelieve the talk, but these things normally come true. There's been a few this season where early rumours have broken, no VP at City, no Rooney in some away champs league game for just 2.

We *should* beat them easily enough, but that also applies to most other teams in the league. Rarely works out that way! Hoping that Welbeck is back..

How the feck are we so unlucky with injuries?

If Savage is right thats Rooney, RvP, Carrick, Nani, Jones and Rafael all out. We'll struggle big time today.

Norwich are without their best defender and 4 midfielders - they are struggling more than we do

Thats some good news then. Tbh I'd not even thought about their injuries. Still, it's always been tough for us at their ground and we have Spurs in a few days. We need our best players back.

I hope we see Kagawa in the hole with Rooney out. Hopefully RVP makes a miracle recovery.

If Rooney's out we should field a midfield three. Something like the lopsided 4-3-3 Moyes has employed on a few occasions recently. I'd probably play Carrick, Cleverley and Giggs in the middle, Welbeck and Hernandez up front - and either Januzaj or Young wide right.

Vidic is supposedly fit, so he needs to start, given that Smalling is the only plausible alternative at RB.

DDG
Smalling - Vidic - Evans - Evra
Carrick - Cleverley - Giggs
Young - Hernández - Welbeck

DDG
Smalling Vidic Evans Evra
Januzaj Fletcher Cleverly Kagawa
Rooney
Welbeck
A versatile side with Fletch and Hernandez to come on if need be.
Edit - no fecking rooney?! I'd play Kagawa in the hole and Young on the wing then. Jesus we are light at the moment

Turner suspended
Pilkington, Elliott Bennett and Tettey are all out and apparently also Howson...

It's cool, Kagawa to score another hattrick.

If Rooney is out then its annoying and I'm more worried about why and for how long, for today though Kagawa and Hernandez are more than good enough.

Good. I guess we should still be winning this but wouldn't surprise me to see us struggle. If you take Aguero, Silva, Toure, Zabaleta and Kompany out of City, they'd struggle.

Hopefully Welbeck can continue his good form then.

Welbeck's knee flared up again toward the end of the Hull match didn't it? It may be prudent to hold him in reserve for this one and start Hernandez and Kgawa today.

Might be forced to take a risk on him and Carrick today. We can't go without all the players in form and just throw in kagawa and Hernandez. Its suicide.

Januzaj looked knackered, worth the risk?
