Our Rivals Squad next year - Arsenal

I'm starting to think Wenger should have left in the summer.
I don't see how anyone can deny this. We were in a good position in May. Baffling how he's managed to make the team worse in practically every area since then.

Giroud, in one shot, showed why Welbeck will either play on the wing or go back to the bench.

Yeah, Welbeck managed to look dangerous and threaten at times, but Arsenal lacked that clinical aspect to their game that Giroud evidently has when he's on form, even if he's not the world class striker they need.

Good summary in truth.

Those sort of ref decisions will go against you one day and for you another.

We had our share of bad decisions - Wilshere should have been off; and the Rooney run given offside - when he was miles on - which would have led to a 2on1 with RVP.

Which refereeing decisions went against Arsenal?

Fellaini offside and fouled Gibbs. Shaw penalty on Wilshere.

Laughable to suggest that it was a penalty and then suggest Wilshere wasn't a red card(as you've done so in the second thread).

Incredible that Wenger still has a job.
What's even more incredible is that the only way he's leaving the club is if he wants to. He can do whatever he likes and he has total job security.

Arsenal are crazy. Why they were going gung ho at 0-1 when there is plenty of time left.

They do it all the time. Very silly.

Hmm what about the break when Rooney was given offside when he was about 2 feet onside. It was 3 vs 2 if the ref wasn't incompetent.

Offside for goal, yellow card for starfish by Rooney, etc. I didn't think the Wilshere head was worth a red card in real time and the ref didn't have replays.
You're forgetting the incorrect offside decision against Rooney that would have put is in 2 on 1.

You're just wrong about the Wilshere red... That's a red every day in the modern game, and he deserves it for being such a fecking idiot reacting like that.

Rooney didn't even claim for that and got straight back up, so that's a pretty ridiculous claim.

What's the 'etc' for because they are the only incidents I can recall? And they sound pretty even to me. As you say, some go for you, some against.

Di Maria elbow at end that was as red as Wilsheres reaction. Agree with the Rooney offside decision, that kind of balanced things out a bit.

I didn't even notice that. When Chambers picked him up?

I couldn't believe how naive they were leaving themselves so exposed to the counter time and time again.

That we kept fecking it up every single time doesn't take away from the fact Wenger should have done something about it.
