Noone is going to quit, but fecking hell, this is not the start to the season we wanted! We just look shite, utter shite - maybe there's a reason we don't usually bring in 4 players and sell 3 in a close season, maybe its disruptive to the gelling of the side. Who knows, and yes, I'm just looking for an excuse as to why we are playing so poorly. Its not good to be 4 points behind Chelsea at any stage, but a good win on Sunday, combined with them losing or drawing with the Dippers and we're right back in there. Remember, they've shipped 3 goals already against pretty shite teams, and we've only conceded one against a team that are highly fancied to finish better than top half this season.

Even the radio commentators missed it just assuming for a second it was not as bad as first made out could we appeal and still have Ronaldo for the City game?

Its not a matter of gelling, we only none of the new boys in the side at the weekend and today we played much better with 2 new players, we've got a big injury list and we do lack a full on striker

just watched the highlights on MOTD, we played exciting attacking football which most of us fans love, but if if you prefer results of quality of play.. feck off and support liverpoo or some other tactical play for a draw crap.. you are not welcome..

i think this season will be a rollercoaster for the fans.. bring it on!!

its a balance mate. we aren't capello boring shite, but we aren't newcastle either. at the very elite of clubs like man utd, quality and results both matter.

Haven't you watch the match? No offense but scholes played well and deserves to be man of the match!.
 
After watching the highlights i'm a bit happier. Tevez looked good for his first game and Nani looked like he'd played a lot more than 45 minutes in this league. Defence looked good again aswell bar the goal not sure really who was responsible for not picking him up.

One the goals start coming for certain players this is going to be a great season. To cheer myself up even more tonight i'm going to dust off the vcr and watch the treble season video in bed and see where we went after drawing the first two matches!

I saw it an thought it was nothing Ronaldo was pushed over and expected him to come head to head with him you couldn't call it a headbutt but I doubt they'll overturn it.

They were out with the intention to wind players up same with Nugent and Vidic Nugent pushes Vidic into VDS and Vidic turns round and gives him a small push and he falls to the floor.

We really need to be clinical up front now. We are starting to fall off the pace and an immediate response is required. We are creating chances galore but at the moment just cant find the final touch to put them away. I hope the team clicks before its too late.
 
So according to most sites Cristaino Ronaldo apperad to head-butt Portsmouth player. He didn't hit him. So you can kill people in tackels like Steven gerrard does and not get anything but when it comes to Ronaldo, that is different story.

Clearly we know that it has something to do with racism.
