It was just a rumour probably, I can't see us playing Barcelona in the World Cup year, particularly when we have almost entire summer filled with friendlies.
I definitely read that we were getting a "big european team" to open the new ground. It was dependant on us getting second which has been achieved, so watch this space.
Well since the Barca match was conditional on us finishing second, adn we have, hopefully it comes to pass.

I read from another forum that the turkish league will start at august 4th or 6th, so our match with Galatasaray on Aug 4 is still questionable.
