Premier League games 28/29th December

Arsenal's results away to non top 4 teams are fantastic, to be fair. Cnuts.

5 minutes. Burnley manager wants his team to stay up, not having that park-the-bus manner. Really hope the get the win, probably being greedy though.

We are NOT in the title race. Southampton got a point more than I expected. Arse got 3. Spurs got 1 and we dropped 2. It's been a bad day.

Bruce is going to get sacked... isn't he?
Hull losing at home to Leicester.

Pretty much this. It'll be us vs Arsenal for third IMO.

We've probably dropped twice as many silly points as they have.

Yes, that's because they're better than us. It's as good as saying "if only we won all our games, we'd be top".

Full time West Ham 1-2 Arsenal

Ah well. At least West Ham are dropping further and further away.

Mangala makes me feel so much better about our defenders.

I'm fed up of Arsenal getting 4th. They are non-existent in the big away games, hell they struggle at home against them but they are the best at beating the rest.

That's how they manage to get into the top four every single season. We need to sort our away form out, as if the results start turning sour at home, we're fecked.

Very strange results today and nearly another one in the Arsenal game.

City drop points as well. I liked the look of Barnes and Ings, made things tough for the City CB

Arsenal are always going to be up there, you just don't want one of those seasons where a unexpected team get in the Top 4.
Yeah I'm just trying to find positives really. Hopefully we can extend the gap between us and them to 5 or 6 points again on New Years.

Not really. We've dropped more silly points than Arsenal and they're not better than us nor are they ahead of us.

Leicester are taking Hull down with them - Brucey needs a miracle with results like that.

They're away at Southampton next. Will likely be tough for them.

City are shit, how could they draw against an average team like Burnley at HOME. It's so obvious. Because they're shit la.

Hopefully our draw against Spurs puts some things into perspective for the people ready to hang half our team in the match day thread.

That was fecking intense. Szczesny played about as well as I've ever seen him, completely dominated West Ham in the air. Koscielny, Cazorla, Sanchez and to a lesser extent Chamberlain were all brilliant as well.

Gotta be the first time this season I can look at all the results and feel good! The battle for third goes on...

How are Burnely 19th? They play better football and look more organized than Liverpool, Villa, West Brom etc.
