Premier League Matchweek 6 (September 23rd - 25th)

This view doesn't surprise me coming from an Arsenal fan in all honesty.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that Lukaku and Kane could not coexist at the same club.

Both are probably more comfortable playing as a lone striker. And if they had a partner up front he would be preferably a Lacazette/Werner type. They are too similar.

Alli's subpar performances are because he has agent issues apparently. So leave the poor lamb alone

West ham just hoping to get some random Carroll header, hoofing the ball all over the place. They're clueless.

Arnautovic is proper shi*e. On and off the pitch.
He's one of those players that think they're much better than they really are, which has almost a multiplier affect on how shite they perform.

If he kept it simple at times he'd contribute much more.

Who I support has no bearing on my comment whatsoever :wenger:

You just bought Lukaku for £75m, you're not going to replace him with another striker for £150m+ a year later. Absolutely nonsensical posts

He's the best English striker since Shearer imo and one striker we'll regret never signing when he retires. It is great he is English though.

There's not that many left that West ham haven't hired: Allardyce,Pardew,Curbishley;all sacked! Hodgson gone. That leaves Hughton,Howe,Dyche. Would any of them go to that shower of a club? It's clear who's running it and it's not the manager
Yeah may be Hughes as well. Cant see anyone from outside taking over.

I agree, think he would suit you down to the ground I just don't think you could happily accommodate them both. Both deserve to play week in week out as the main man.

They are 2 very different players whom offer very different playstyles, I'm quietly confident they could play together in a 3-5-2 system should the situation call for it. Jose has actually tested the 3-5-2 on various occasions during the summer and in the League cup midweek. Clearly he favours the system.

I think our heart is set on Griezmann mate. We wouldn't sign both even though they don't play the same position.

If he goes, he'll break Neymar's record imo. First £200m player.
Maybe. I don't see him as having the 'aura' of a Neymar or Messi. He doesn't have the world draw in the same way because he doesn't thrill audiences.

What he does possess is brilliant finishing which will still bring you 150m I'm guessing

Hernandez has been anonymous. But then again West Ham are awful so I won't hold it against him.

Mate - he is not coming as long as lukaku is here. Period

There's also the British tax to consider. Don't think he will ever leave Spurs though so price is moot.

There is honestly no point in discussing it he won't be going anywhere for the next 2-3 seasons. After that who knows but for the foreseeable future he will be a Spurs player.
Maybe, but £200m is about a fifth of Spurs' overall value (maybe 1/6th). That's a lot of money to turn down. No guaranteeing this bubble rises.

I don't think he favours it, but more of a case of being ready to fight fire with fire should the time come. He has previously said that it is sometimes best to match someone playing 352 with the same formation, so him trying it out on tour was so that it wasn't alien to the team when the time comes that we need to play it.

Alli has two assists but has played really, really poorly.

He will. He's not a Le Tiss with a blind loyalty to one club. He knows a big club will want him if he keeps scoring and it will dawn on him one day that it may be better to leave Spurs

If this goes to 4 the West Ham fans might feel the urge to boo.

I'm thinking more from a point of view of Levy will get every last cent out of that deal. Spurs don't have to sell, the PL deal means English clubs are all cash rich. If Kane has another season like last season, he'd easily be worth 200m to a club like Real.

Kane would cost one Griezmann plus two great fullbacks, pretty clear where our priorities should be.
