Was it just me or did Vertonghen dive under no contact when Torres supposedly clipped his heel?

Some great dribbling from Torres so far this half.
 
Dembele can really drift past players when he wants to, the boy has great hips.

he could as easily kept him off and ground out a win/draw or even loss, but not risked his reputation by going back on his comments regarding mata/oscar - which would have been really poor management.

I don't really get what you mean. Okay he never should have dropped him, but having done so and been vocal about why it is still better to be flexible and admit being wrong than be rigid to your teams detriment.

What? My point is that he had already been proved wrong before todays game.. They have had a poor start to the season so he should have learnt it was a mistake with Mata earlier.

Mata hasn't been playing, then he drops him again against Spurs and plays Ramires there instead - that's the type of stuff he has been doing all season so in what way has he learnt it's wrong?

Starting Mata in a run of games might prove that but subbing him on when the team is losing proves absolutely nothing, it's the same shit hes been doing all season.
 
Torres resorts to scratching players now ....what a prat.
 
Could mata work as a false number 9? Or will his lack of pace make it difficult?

That last niggle between Torres and Vertonghen was ridiculous. I fail to see what Torres did wrong that time. :lol:
