Beckham isn't working as hard as he usually does by a long way.

He's absent without leave, I'm normally a big supporter of him, but today he's let us down so far. :(

Becks always seems to disappear against Roberto Carlos. I doubt it's a matter of wish, but ability.

I would definitely bring Ole on and take Becks off. Ole always works hard - he's quite capable of doing a wing job, and he will up the attack to 1.5 at least. But if there are changes I hope we don't wait till the 80th minute.

At least we know for sure now that he doesn't want to play for them. ;)

Apart from Raul's goal.

Silly booking for Ruud. If you're gonna get booked, make sure you get your money's worth.

We look like we can play with them now, whereas before we were like training cones.

I think as the game goes on in true United style we'll apply more and more pressure and they'll start to sit back more. I hope.

No Gaz and no Scholes, Veron had better be back soon, soon enough to get one comeback game in too.

Now I am getting frustrated and see the same mistake as 2000 happening. At least then we were drawing - but we need at least one more goal and we should have another striker on the pitch.

Its gonna be some nervous last 5mins.

C'mon Ole!!!

Yes he is, should have been a sending off and a penalty even during first 20 minutes ;)

Livvie,

At least with Scholes out it should mean we play 2 strikers up front from the start at OT. Hopefully Veron back in midfield too.

Four minutes.

What's the point of that.

Where's Fergie's Army?

Sid, I had no problem with not playing two strikers - I didn't put Ole in my team for tonight as it happens.

But two goals down to Real Madrid, and you leave it until the 86th minute to bring on another striker, and then take off a defender instead of Beckham who has been very poor.

Fergie above criticism? Not tonight he isn't.

I agree with the system tonight also. I thought it was tailor made for the job.

I was saying that with all players available, he might have gone for the one up, one behind system when we are chasing a two goal lead. At least now we know what we need and who can do it.

Four minutes - if I was Ole I would be absolutely pissed off and thoroughly demoralised.
