Southampton vs Manchester United

Date: Sunday, 15 May 2005, 15:00
Competition: FA Cup
Venue: Saint Mary's Stadium

should give some other players a chance in this game (but not too many)

Southampton need to win so they will be going out to attack us, the defence should handle that. But on our counter attack it gives the new player(s) a chance

No Peter Crouch for the saints too

the way we play is more important than the result

southampton need to win this match. but were gona win 2-4.

I hope we don't go there and just to turn up and get beaten just because we have nothing to play for in the league. :nervous:

We need to win this match to get some confidences back before the cup final.

Southampton needs 3 points we don´t = we are going to win.

Well, at least we should do Robbo a favour and beat Soton. Also, we seem to have a bad record there, so we should try to get rid of them for next season.

SAF said he's fielding a strong side, so no Rossi, Jones etc I'm afraid :(

Why would you want Jones and Rossi playing. We need to field our stongest side so we can try and get back a little bit of form for the final...u fool! ;)

Man utd to strike back after the Chelsea loss, reckon you will dominate and win out easy winners 2-0....

how comes ronaldos pic isnt the same as the others pictures

Hmm, this is the biggest today´s problem.

Because, my Ronaldo obsessed friend, the pictrure was taken after he got back from pissing off to the Olympics when we really needed him (remember that), and the photogs were obviously too dense to remember the way they took the pictures of everyone else a month before.

Comon saints!!

WTF?

Have you completely lost your mind?

And put the crest back on the top, and get rid of the ginger cnut. You're bang out of order. You know how important these threads are for superstition reasons.

Manchester United (from): Carroll, Howard, G Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre, O'Shea, Fortune, P Neville, Ronaldo, Scholes, Keane, Fletcher, Kleberson, Miller, Giggs, van Nistelrooy, Smith, Saha, Rooney.

Gary Neville, Ronaldo and Scholes are slight doubts...

------------------ Carroll -------------------
P.Neville --- Ferdinand --- Brown --- Silvestre
------------------ Keane -------------------
---------- Fletcher ------ Kleberson --------
Smith -------------------------------- Giggs
-------------- van Nistelrooy ---------------

bench: Howard, Saha, Rooney, Miller, Fortune

Southampton will go down, I think. They're such a poor side, and with Peter Crouch as the star man, they really deserve to be playing first division football.

But, with the team Fergie is likely to pick, resting players so they're nice and rusty for the cup final, I think it may be a narrow squeak of a win for United.

I would like to see Ricardo finally get a league match since he's not moaned about lack of playing time since coming to OT nearly 3 years ago. But I would stick with Carroll for the FA Cup Final (as it's his last match with the club anyhow).

-----Ricardo-------
Gaz-Rio-Micky-O'Shea
Fletch-Kleb-Keane-Ronaldo
----Ruud-Rooney---

Surely Kleberson and Keane can handle So'ton's midfield. Go 4-4-2 with Fletch and Ronaldo playing wide.

-------------Carroll
G Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre
Ronaldo--Keane--Fletcher--Giggs
------Ruud----Rooney

Smith, Scholes, Saha, O'shea, Carroll

Got a feeling the Saints are really gonna get burned tomorrow. Should play our strongest possible line up, they have to look to win, don't have anti-Crouch, and they're also shite at defending.

Trio doubtful for United
PAUL Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gary Neville are all minor doubts for Manchester United's final Barclays Premiership game at Southampton on Sunday.

The trio are all suffering from slight niggles and could be fit to face Saints but Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to take any undue risks six days before the FA Cup final.

Gabriel Heinze (ankle) is definitely out and a decision should be taken on Monday over whether the Argentinian full-back will play in Cardiff.

You're a jinx!

You've predicted us to win in nearly every game recently, and we've lost most of them...

quiroz was talking about changes being made.. maybe rossi and jones??
