Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Our entire squad just returned from their NTs, it's not a shock that our second half got a bit workmanlike. And still they only managed one very tame shot on target. Three points - rejoice!

Uncomfortable 2nd half to watch as they gradually got themselves back into the game, but we also rarely looked troubled at the back, which was certainly a positive.

Poor finish from RVP at the end. All of Mignolet's weight was coming across goal, he would have had no chance if RVP placed to the left. I thought RVP played well though. He's so good at holding up the ball. His control and skill are incredible. Lets not forget, he carved out the chance for our goal out of absolutely nothing. He got shown onto his weaker foot, but he still wriggled back on to it. Just so good.

Our wingers were making all the right runs but the end product was disappointing. Kagawa was excellent, and it was a shame he didn't get a full 90 minutes, but he must be knackered after his journey back. It would have been nice to see us push on after a very good first half, but another win and another clean sheet is all that matters.

Interested to see what sort of team Chelsea put out today now.

No, it will be 21 points with 21 to play but you would think gd will be city's if it finish on level points.

Not as bland as the Reading game but pretty dull stuff as far as the attack went, but function over flair as we wrap up #20 I guess.
