Swansea City vs. Manchester United

Swansea team

Vorm
Tiendalli, Chico, Williams, Davies
Dyer, Britton, Augustein, De Guzman, Routledge
Michu

When we get Rafael back, Valencia back to his best and Young to be consistent, that team will be fantastic.

Good dynamic lineup by SAF. Swansea are going to come at us like the other small teams normally do

That defense looks slow, could be a problem. Good line up though.

The lack of a central defender on the bench is the big concern, with both Evans and Vidic coming back from injuries. I think we have to assume both Smalling and Ferdinand are carrying knocks.

Swansea have quick, tricky wingers. I hope Jones and Evra are up for it today. Evra doesn't like people running at him and Jones is not a natural at right back.

Swans basically playing with 6 midfielders and no striker so expect them to have a lot of the ball

Nemanja

ohohoh

Nemanja

ohohohhhhh

He comes from Serbia

Bench?

Lindegaard,?,?,?.Fletcher,Welbeck,Hernandez

#MUFC Bench: Lindegaard, Giggs, Hernandez, Welbeck, Scholes, Buttner, Fletcher

If Vidic/Evans can handle Michu then I'd say it should be pretty comfortable.

But this season has been anything but comfortable and I've got a heart monitored attached to myself just incase.

Didn't think Vidic had 14 goals in 172 pl games.

Looks like a decent team. Evans/Vidic is a bit of a surprise to me, looks like Rio/Smalling will be the partnership in the next game possibly

I'm going to hate watching this, always worrying Vidic goes down.

Hope Swansea play attacking football and don't try parking the bus.

Class lineup, about right really. Raf injured or being rested again? Strange to not even see him on the bench. Hoping Hernandez get's some game time today, could do with it. I think I'll be in a fit of rage if I see Giggs brought on as the final sub ahead of Hernandez like last weekend.

First game up here in the mains for me, it cant be as bad as some of the nonsense spouted in the newbies during the match day threads...can it? :D

rafael has a hamstring injury.

Either Rio & Smalling have picked up knocks this week, or we're taking a massive gamble by not having either of them at least on the bench.

Not sure what would annoy me more tbh.

This is our best team bar Rafa. Thank God that SAF seems to have settled on it too.

Not too worried about lack of cover at CB. We can move Jones there and stick Valencia at right full back.

Think this will be a tough task today - we'll give them a chance or two with Vidič lacking sharpness.

That said, very happy with the front six - the form of the side going forward means we have a good chance of taking the points.

United haven't done things the easy way often this season, would be nice if we could make light work of Swansea ahead of a hectic schedule.

They're not in great nick having lost their last two, while they're also without their first choice full backs - hopefully Valencia can find a bit of form against Davies today.

Freakin Christmas family dinner can only watch first half:mad:
