Exactly, don't see the fuss there. Seems to me it will be one of those movies like the Hangover and Anchorman that everyone says is hilarious because they don't want to be left out.
Didn't like hangover but loved anchorman. Some people just have different senses of humour. I find Family Guy funnier than South Park.

There's a short circuit remake in the works boys and girls.
Catwoman in TDKR worries me. I don't like the actress and it feels like it will only detract from a movie series that fought so hard to be grounded in some sort of reality.

Anne Hathaway playing a hooker turned Catwoman sounds great.
Chris Nolan has this uncanny knack of making decent actors into good actors at least in his movies. I was a little worried at first but I think she will be fine.

The marketing for Prometheus has been excellent. The trailers have been immense, and as you say the virals have been smashing.
I'm sure actors absolutely love that sort of thing, but Fassbender plays it pitch perfect.

feck that. I'm going into the cinema having seen as little of the Avengers as possible.
NO! You must watch as many clips from inappropriately deep into the movie as possible. And preferably also a trailer that spells out the entire plot sequentially. For then, and only then will you be truly worthy, of paying upwards of £15 to see it in on a larger screen!
For the last year or so I've adopted the policy of trying to avoid seeing/reading anything to do with movies apart from the cast and general critical reaction. Its certainly enhanced my experience not knowing what to expect. Although it didn't work out too well when I went to see Coriolanus and couldn't understand what the feck they were saying.
The Prometheus releases have been great. independent viral marketing that's not in the film and done really well. I'm not that into my Avengers shit, but from what I can see, they've released about 20 minutes of footage so far. Then again, they clearly know their audience are the kind of people who scour the internet obsessively for it.
People were worried about the Nolan universe joker when the first pics came out and look how that turned out.

It depends what you're looking for in a film. If it's not a big green man, a robot, a beach bum with a mallet, and 2/3rds of it already on youtube, then yep, it will definitely be shit.
