I think the involvement of Spielberg and Rylance assuage any fears of it being a "churned out" product, tbf. Not to mention the old cartoon was a Cosgrove-Hall production, not a Disney one.
They seem to be doing all the old cartoons as Live Actions now as well.
Pinocchio could be great but they will definitely feck it up.

Spike Lee's new joint (can only say joint in this context when referring to a Spike Lee film) 'Chiraq' and 'Inherent Vice'.
I always associated these two films with each other, seemingly that was intentional. Any reason why? I know they both have creepy girls in em.
The girl (Yurei) is a common ghost found in Japanese folklore. These ghosts are in many films but these two films were the most popular I guess so they're matching them together kinda like Freddy vs. Jason.

Nah not professionally but have been writing (or trying to write) a feature length horror screenplay for a while now. Realistically I know the chances of getting someone to read and green light it is slim to none though
