I think they stole the plot to Spike Lee's Chi-Raq (which I haven't seen yet and takes its plot from an older Greek play).

I stupidly read the youtube comments to this and there was something REALLY interesting that someone spotted which might be a coincidence or just gave away the entire plot twist. Whoops.
Gives away too much plot. I think I can guess what this is all about. Stop watching the trailer as soon as the crescendo kicks in.
