What happened to the Andrew Garfield version? Are they dead now?

Part of the deal between Marvel and Sony was casting the role with a different actor.
Third time lucky.
Didn't they like him?
He was the perfect blend of being a cool nerd.Garfield was a great Spiderman but was badly let down by the script.
Hope it is better than Prometheus was.
Am I the only one who kind of liked the film, but was disappointed with how such a great premise was not really exploited to the max. Wasn't a great film by any stretch but it was entertaining I thought.
I liked the film , I actually liked it more the second time, like you say it was not great but entertaining enough.Am I the only one who kind of liked the film, but was disappointed with how such a great premise was not really exploited to the max. It was just another example of the type of film that has fantastic art direction and design so that it looks incredible, but paired with a really flimsy plot and dreadful script.
It's almost always the simple, relatively inexpensive part of film that's at fault. Sometimes it seems like an afterthought once all the pretty landscapes, spaceships and costumes have been created.
Not sure about this one......
Sort of film that could be legendary if redone by people who know how to write a script. I think they were out of their depth with the questions they were trying to pose and ended up trying to Michael Bay their way out of it halfway through.
They fecked up on day one when they hired the writer of Lost to answer those questions. Or indeed, any questions.
There were so many stupid little things wrong with that film, way beyond its failure to answer its central philosophies. Like biologists who are scared of dead animals, Christians who think humans were created by aliens, or people who can't run sideways.
I actually thought it was great.Am I the only one who kind of liked the film, but was disappointed with how such a great premise was not really exploited to the max. Wasn't a great film by any stretch but it was entertaining I thought.
WHY WOULD YOU HIRE EXPERTS FOR A DEEP SPACE EXPEDITION WITHOUT TELLING ANY OF THEM WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!?? WHY WOULD THEY EVEN GO!!??
Gah!!
Loved the movie, but your original review is one of my favourite redcafe posts ever.
The stupidest was robot who doesn't breathe blowing a flute to make the alien ship work.
Middle of the movie, out of nowhere, Weyland and his entourage of medical team is aboard the ship![]()
who the hell is going to watch this rubbish?
