Film The Movies I want to see thread

At this point the Last Jedi is the only thing on the horizon for me.

I did not know this was ever made even though i've followed Moto GP for a fair bit now.

Looks absolutely bloody amazing.

Really? Its badly written fan fiction that basically comprises of lists of films and games.

I don't really remember the above th. I imagine I probably just skipped it entirely. But overall, it's a fun, interesting and easy to read book with a cool premise. I'm not sure you can call it fanfic as an insult either, since that's kind of the whole point.

I did like the premise (and hold out hope for a good film) just thought the book was painful.

Love the Pure Imagination nods in the music.
It is quite a good tribute/complete rip-off. Wonder if it's just trailer placeholder music or whether it's part of the actual score?

I do wonder whether the pure imagination of it only extends to "I wonder what a film with CGIs of all my favourite movie cars, robots and characters crammed into it would be like?"

For anybody looking forward to the Dark Tower...
Stephen King gave a speech to the audience at a screening last night that has been summarised as "At least it finally got made."
Not looking good :(

That's not good.

Variety just published something about it which makes the whole thing sound like a complete trainwreck. Although they give the impression that King liked it.
In the novels, someone who acts dishonorably is said to have “forgotten the faces of his fathers.” After seeing the film, King sent Arcel an email praising him. “You have remembered the faces of your fathers,” he wrote.
