Mads Timm has been ruled out of the second leg of the FA Youth Cup Final through injury.

The powerful Danish forward limped out of the first encounter with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium last week and has failed to recover in time for the second half of the tie.

The Reds, who start the match with a 2-0 advantage, draft in Sylvan Ebanks Blake to partner Eddie Johnson upfront, while first-leg scorers Kieran Richardson and Ben Collett start in midfield. Captain David Jones and wideman Chris Eagles complete the midfield four, while the defence is unchanged.

Middlesbrough start with talented youngster Anthony Peacock in the team, while captain Andrew Davies will again marshall the defence.

Kick off at Old Trafford is at 20:05BST, with tickets available on the gate. If you can't get down here, why not tune into ManUtd.com's live audio commentary of the full match? Visit the Home Page at kick-off time to listen.

MUTV will screen the match in full at 22:00BST on Friday and 20:00BST on Saturday - you've no excuse not to see it!

Teams:

United: Steele; Sims, McShane, Bardsley, Lawrence; Collett, Richardson, Jones, Eagles; Johnson, Ebanks-Blake.

Middlesbrough: Turnbull; McMahon, Davies, Wheater, Harrison; Morrison, Taylor, Bates, Brunt; Liddle, Peacock.

Probably fancies a move to madrid after Wed. night.

Kicked off!

Still more fans coming into the ground. :) Over 10,000 I think, but probably not the 20k or so we had in the last final.

Boro look like they'll close us down more than last time.

Blake on the ball, running down the wing, gets taken down. But starts running them with his first touch, good to see.

Not bad for such a titch, might be good in 6 years time. ;)

Obviously some of the usual crowd in tonight as the singing is underway.

Quite a lot of the first team there as well - including Beckham, Scholes, Phil and Gary.

Blake showing his pace by trying to intercept a pass back - his pace should be a problem all night. Nice work in close quarts by Jones. Davies, their captain, ticked off for a tackle on Richardson outside of our area. Collett in the box, to Eagles, crossed, come's out to Richardson who blasts over the bar.

Boro in possession and keeping it well, but a poor pass to the front men and we intercept.

So far its been a bit of a quiet start by both sides, lots of closing down and passing not quite clicking yet.

Richardson doing one of his trademark driving runs from box to box, and then after a few passes delivering a good cross too.

Eddie Johnsoooooon!!!

Terrific shot from outside the box, with lots of swerve. Route one football, goalkick poorly cleared, Blake heads to Johnson who turns drags wide to get space and slams it across the face of goal.

Eagles, Richardson and Johnson combining down the right wing, Johnson nutmegs their defender before crossing, but harmlessly to the keeper.

Nice move there, ending with a Blake flick on but their keeper, who was excellent last match, scurries out quickly to collect.

Have the scousers ever won this?

Close escape there as we fecked up a pass in the box, but we broke at speed and Blake hit a shot from a tight angle at the keeper's near post.

Tall and bulky, very physical player with a powerful shot, traditional centre forward, good in the air too.

We're playing well on the counter, and Blake has another shot after his pace got him clear again, sidefoots the shot but it hits the keeper's legs.

sounds class, strong, pacey and got skill. Like an attacking version of john o'shea :D </strong><hr></blockquote>
Not pacy in the Blake sense, nor as skillful on the ball. He's no dribbler. More like Shearer really.

:D

Maybe there's another once in a lifetime crop here.

Richardson plays a very long through ball on the break, taking advantage of Blake's pace, and the keeper runs out and hits, it ricochets off Blake for a throw in to them.
