Forget the worthless, this is a big game....

Are the sheep ready for their cup final? Would be just our luck if they beat us.

Keep the red flag flying high....

Let's hope we don't see a repeat of last year's game, where this fan

was seen stirring trouble outside old trafford.

Leeds fans have dismissed claims they are a bunch of twatty hooligans, with the latest comment found on the official website

This would be my team:

------------ Fab ------------

Gaz -- Wes -- Rio -- John

Becks -- Butt/Seba --- Keane -- Giggs

------------ Scholes ------------

------------ Ruud ------------

We need goals Gazza. We need to play two strikers.

Let's be realistic Livvie. We've used this formation all season, how likely are we to change it now? I loved it when we played 442, but i'm not sure how capable we are to just change back to it now.

Yeah, I'd like to see us play with 2 strikers too...but it's not going to happen.

Diego's injury isn't nearly as bad as first thought. He could be back for Wednesday.

Sums it all up really. Very disheartening then. We need goals but are sticking rigidly to a formation that doesn't supply them.

If we are to play 4-4-2 Livvie, i'd say one of Scholes or Seba would have to leave the team. Leaving Scholes out would leave the side a bit weak imo, but if Seba was to stop being first-choice I think he would leave. What do we do?

Although listening to your arguement Livvie, I'd love to see a Becks--Keane--Scholes--Giggs midfield again. Just don't think it'll happen.

K.o.20:00??
is that right??????????
oo cool~ if so, (oh shit) i got a lesson on that day.! Duck!

I know there's a selection dilemma there. But I'd really like to see us give 4-4-2 a go again in the league because we're just not scoring enough goals. I honestly feel though that we're dropping points because SAF doesn't want to drop Scholesy or Seba, and that's not right. In the league, I'd play either Seba/Scholesy based on form. We can play both of them in the CL and then at the end of the year re-assess the situation for next year.

IMO it doesnt matter what form Seba is in, as long as we play him in a straightforward 4-4-2 we're gonna have problems. He's simply not good enough defensively or strong enough.

There's a case for Neville and Butt as well.

We need to play English football in England and save the European stuff for the CL.

your going to win feck all again this season, beating you on Wednesday will be the iceing on the cake for me.

1 2

Viduka, Wes Brown OG, a horse for you

I find it so sad that supporters are quite happy that their own team is shite as long as they beat us.

Envy is such a terrible thing.

I laugh when they lose, but that's natural, hardly obsessive. Most other fans in the country get as much pleasure seeing us lose as they do watching their own team win.

I think you're being a bit paranoid there...

Mind you,its especially good when it happens at the same time...

Like today for example..

;)

You must be pleased Arsenal did you a favour today davo...

Why should we envy Liverpool???

And I went on a Leeds site once and all they did was talk about us, so if we're talking obsession. And at least you get a conversation on here - Leeds fans just came out with foul mouthed abuse, so much so that someone actually emailed me to apologise.

Yes, there is defintely a case for Phil and Nicky as well. We all half-joke about it, but a part of me really misses that team that did so well when all of our superstars were out. In the league, that was the best we'd played all season.

Like other people have said in other threads, we have a team that's been created and moulded for Europe. We should play one way for Europe and another for the league, but we're not because we want to keep all our superstars happy.

But putting so much focus on Europe is really risky. Winning the European Cup is dependent on so many factors other than the ability of your team. It also comes down to luck, injuries, bad refereeing... And in an instant you can be out of Europe. And what are we going to do if after developing this team for Europe we end up drawing Arsenal? It'll be like playing 2 league matches.

I'd just like us to treat the European Cup/the league equally and for us to play the best sytem/personnel for each.

I was pleased they won yes.

With us being out of the title race I hope they win it again. They're a superb side and a joy to watch..

I think they will as well..how about you?

;)

If any leeds' fan wants to talk about obsession they should try making sense of the site I listed earlier in this thread

Amen to that!

And not to discard players who have done the business just because Teacher's pets are available again.

They'll probably win it unless we pull of a comeback of epic proportions. However, we've done it before....

whether or not you lot get in to europe this year, now there's a debate.
;)

At least you get some humour on the Liverpool sites.

Quite frankly, the Leeds fans are, in the main, obnoxious, abusive and so full of hate, that it's impossible to even have banter with them.

There was a time when you were so successful that you didn't bother trying to win the Worthy Cup....

Now you'd take any trophy

If you were good enough, that is..

;)

There's not today

I think there is if you look.

You're still poor. Wimbledon won the Cup once. Didn't make them a great side tho did it.
