Might see ya in Stamford on the Wednesday night for a few beers and the Barca v's AC Milan game at 9pm if there is anywhere going to be showing it?

It's gonna be a top day out if they enforce all of these

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Video Cameras/Recording Devices
Professional cameras and tripods
Noise makers
Hanging Banners/Signs/Sticks
Chains
Illegal Substances
Laser Pointers
Clothing containing vulgar language :D
Fireworks
Aerosol Cans
Pets

Any item deemed by management to be dangerous or inappropriate

Prohibited items that are discovered during inspections at Stadium entrances must either be returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded. The Stadium will not provide a storage area for these items. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to being confiscated and the person in possession of those items is subject to arrest. Guests arriving by mass transit must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items, as no exceptions will be made. Thank you for your continued cooperation and please be assured that your comfort and safety are our primary goals.

WHILE IN YOUR SEATS

Proper behavior is expected from all of our guests. Foul/abusive language and/or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated and will be cause for ejection and/or arrest. Violators may also have their season tickets revoked. Notify the nearest Guest Services or Safety/Security Representative immediately if actions of this type occur near you.

Retain ticket stubs for Guest Services Representatives to verify proper seat location. Adults should ensure that children are in possession of their own ticket. This will facilitate reuniting the child with parents should they become separated.

Sit only in your assigned seat to avoid inconveniencing other guests.

Keep aisles clear at all times; emergency situations require that stairways be kept clear. Guests sitting or standing in the Stadium aisles jeopardize the safety of others.

Be prepared to show your ticket stub each time you enter your assigned seating section.

Entering the playing field without authorization or throwing objects is a violation of Stadium rules and may prove hazardous. Offenders will be ejected and subject to arrest and prosecution.

Handheld radios and televisions are allowed as long as guests listen with an earpiece or headphones. Guests should be considerate of their neighbors when using these devices.

Disabled seating is reserved for disabled guests with one companion only.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is permitted on the spirals and at ground-level plazas at all gates. Smoking is prohibited in all other areas of Giants Stadium.

ALCOHOL POLICIES
Guests who attend events at Giants Stadium expect to have a good time. As such, it is our duty to ensure that those guests who drink alcoholic beverages do so responsibly. The following is a list of the alcohol policies instituted at Giants Stadium:

Guests will not be permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into the Stadium.

Guests will not be allowed to enter Giants Stadium if they appear intoxicated.

Limit of 2 beers per possession.

Alcoholic beverages are not vended in the seating areas.

Guests who appear to be under the age of 30 must provide valid proof of age.

Beer sales are shut off at the end of halftime or earlier at management's discretion.

Drunk and disorderly behavior as well as violation of any alcohol policy will result in ejection from Giants Stadium without refund and could result in the loss of season tickets

I got season tickets to the Jets (NFL), so I go there all the time. It's not as bad as it sounds. If somebody is sober enough to walk, they can get in. You will be patted down before entering the stadium, but they are looking for weapons, cans and bottles and not really looking for illegal substances.

Security is pretty strict about ejecting people for fighting and they do have a reputation for beating people up. As far as the language goes, they won't do anything unless somebody sitting in the area complains. They sell beer inside, but they may cut off sales at the beginning of the second half. The lines for beer can take forever and they will only sell two to a person, but when you get to the end of the line you can ask some passerby to stand next to you and get four that way. Lines for the men's room are long also. If you leave your seat to take a leak and buy beer, you'll be gone for 20 minutes or so.

Better hope the people coming over from England are all in one section then. :)

I know, as soon as there are matches played outside of Europe look at the trouble it causes! How do they think those of us who live in other continents get on week after week?

what's the fallback plan should Nevada Smiths be too packed to get in on Thursday afternoon - know of any other good spots in the area?

OK -you want to know where to go before the game. And not worry about the drive from NYC?There are 2 places within a mile of Giant Stadium. One is Reds,a nice place my friend owns.Good food, nice place, big bar.Its right across from the arena(across the street from Giants Stadium).
The other is called the Grasshopper - Irish pub and very big.All kinds of lager, darts, and all around nice place. It is located a half a mile down the road from Reds.
Grasshopper -louder,irish,more lager.
Reds - nice place to eat drink.

And ideas on the team?

How about:-

Howard
Neville P.
Keane
Rio
JOS
Veron
Butt
Ole
Scholes
Giggs
Ruud

I'm not especially confident tbh.

Hopefully might be

--------------Howard------------------
P.Neville-Rio---O'Shea---Fortune------
---------Keane---Butt-----------------
------------Veron----------------------
--Bellion---------------Giggs-----------
------------RVN------------------------

Think that would work well. Obviously OGS would be first choice to play right wing but i still think Bellion needs a few more matches.

I'd prefer to play our best possible eleven against a team like Juventus.
