I think Chadwick can do that too, he did the other night. Ole's assist for Scholes was just like one Chadwick did to Davis in the reserves. A lot of credit has to go to Fortune, he's taking his chance well and is more convincing than Phil Neville as he closes down more. With Scholes alongside him he's not the only one doing that and isn't overworked and dragged all over the pitch.

he's more of a holding player than phil is, phil sometimes pushes forward too much... like ya said he's done a good job and he's enabled Scholes to run the game..

Every time he's come back from injury he's looked like that. I thought he was playing well in the hungarian game before he got his ankle broken. And last season he came back at the end and he played in some of our key winning games that kept us in the title race. Only thing is is that he's had far too many injuries, including career-threatening ones. I really hope he gets a real injury free run, like a year or two!

Fortune is quietly effective in the middle of teh park - just keeping things ticking over and making sure we keep possession.

The reserves play a possession game - if we get another goal we'll equal their score v Aston Villa mid-week.

Having a partner has helped.

Yeah, Wes is looking good.
But who was supposed to be mearking Bellamy then??
