I think Chadwick can do that too, he did the other night. Ole's assist for Scholes was just like one Chadwick did to Davis in the reserves. A lot of credit has to go to Fortune, he's taking his chance well and is more convincing than Phil Neville as he closes down more. With Scholes alongside him he's not the only one doing that and isn't overworked and dragged all over the pitch.</strong><hr></blockquote>

he's more of a holding player than phil is, phil sometimes pushes forward too much... like ya said he's done a good job and he's enabled Scholes to run the game..

Every time he's come back from injury he's looked like that. I thought he was playing well in the hungarian game before he got his ankle broken. And last season he came back at the end and he played in some of our key winning games that kept us in the title race. Only thing is is that he's had far too many injuries, including career-threatening ones. I really hope he gets a real injury free run, like a year or two!

Predictably Shearer gets his 100th goal at Old Trafford, from a great free kick - no possibility of saving it.

4-2 RVN <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :D

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!

Shearer or Ruud? I know which I'd rather have.

RUUD VAN NISTELROOY TRA LA LA LA LA!!!!!!!!
RUUD VAN NISTELROOY TRA LA LA LA LA!!!!!!!!

Forlan gave him the assist AGAIN. Nice one Diego!

You are my Solskjaer, my Ole Solskjaer,
You make me happy, when skies are grey,
Oh Alan Shearer, was f*cking dearer,
So please don't take, my Solskjaer away.

Diego's all over the place, I don't know about his football skills but he never stops running...

5-2, we're in dreamland again! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Ole Ole Ole! <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Ole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

:D

I'm fecking loving this!

Can't wait to see them!

We're just one of those teams,
That you see now and then,
We often score six,
But we seldom score ten,
We beat 'em at home,
And we beat 'em away,
We kill any b*stards,
That get in our way.
We are the pride of all Europe,
The cock of the North,
We hate the Scousers,
The Cockneys of course,
We are United,
Without any doubt,
We are the Manchester boys.
Na na na na na na na na,
Na na na na na - OOOGH !

This could be the confidence boosting win we've been searching for - and couldn't come at a better time.

We where in Hell...

Nice one lads! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

What a player Ruud is. Back to his best form, after his last injury, showing why he's Europe's best again.

Fortune is quietly effective in the middle of teh park - just keeping things ticking over and making sure we keep possession.

No, it's fine, just about 26 secnds behind the TV.

Richardson on for Ruud.

Giggs up front with Forlan, Ole on the right, Richardson on the left - and he's already a chance on goal.

The reserves play a possession game - if we get another goal we'll equal their score v Aston Villa mid-week.

Blanc is coming off injured, with Roche coming on for him. Good time to give Roche a chance anyway. O'Shea goes central - Roche is a capable right back, hope he shows us what he can do in these 20 minutes.

There's no defender I'd rather have than Wes in the penalty box - he's such a good tackler, brave, clinical and doesn't give away penalties.

Having a partner has helped.

Yeah, Wes is looking good.

But who was supposed to be mearking Bellamy then??

Now this is when you can give reserves a run.

I would love to see Roche coming on against Pool ;) :p
