Giggsy taking the corners. I remember the pre-beckham days when Giggs was our free kick taker, and you know, and he was a highly talented one. They probably should give Giggs more to do in games, it might get the best out of him.

ive just heard that after the last game there was over 100 divots to be replaced <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Not 'arf, I got trashed because our company decided to make most of us redundant or possibly move us to a new office, in Hatfield, Hertforshire. But I don't think I want to live over there. Shame their office wasn't in Manchester!

Was he offside? fecking harsh call, certainly no space between them. Ole almost put Ruud totally clear then.
 
Funny how football can swing from almost being 2-0 up to being 1-1 - hope the boys just keep at what they were doing.

What a difference Scholes is making in midfield by the way. Him and Fortune doing a fine job of controlling the midfield against a good Newcastle side.

We should keep this side for a while, for all the forthcoming games I think, although I want to see Chadwick tried on the wing too, but Ole has been great there and the switching with Forlan is handy, and it adds another goalscoring threat.
 
Lovely interplay, Ruud showing that he's a good footballer as well as scorer, Giggs showing good vision but just overplayed the ball.

Games against Newcastle are always good. 4-3 anyone? 2-1 with 2 minutes injury time left. Could easily be 4-1 by the end.
