FT: poor game from a Uniteds point of view, not the best performance, key players not playing welll enough to clinch a win

Did anyone see Big Andy on the Tv Screen looking nervous as heck around 75 min or so ?

As for this craptastic game we deserved to lose we were awful and they should be ashamed of themselves !
 
The worst thing is that we can't do anything with our form now, we have no midfield and we won't have one for the entire season. We will beat Reading, we will beat Sheffield United, but Chelsea or Liverpool will outplay us.
 
Not good enough. I said before we paid that silly money for Carrick that we needed more agression and bite in midfield, and it showed today.

First decent side we've come up against and we looked average.
 
Thats where the test is..not watford, fulham etc, the big boys chelsea liverpool arsenal...didnt work today.. we got bossed in the midfield, the one place where we have been banging on about for so long..im sorry fletcher did not really add anything to the game, he was sitting back with oshea, wtf do we need two dm's...

Ronaldo was awesome, Scholes was good but you could see that the years had caught up on him, Kuschack was good, it was his debut...

Im sorry but Rooney was dissapointing, i cant remember one good moment of his from the game...

too many mistakes by too many players...we were just not good enough today.
Well done to Arsenal for taking their chance.

Time for us to wake up from dreams of winning the lot eh lads.

well the tv in the family room is out of order so I had to watch the game upstairs....did not feel good today...fecking superstition...

better get it fixed this week.

For fans of a club that's currently one point from the top of the table (and has a two goal differential over Chelsea) you moan, whine, and complain quite a bit.
 
I'm very dissapointed for the way we played today. This matches against our biggest opponents have to be won at least in home soil. All first matches between Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham(which we already played) will be played in Old Trafford and we lost the first one. I'm satisfied of the attitude of some players but not with the attitute of others such as Rooney, O'Shea and Silvestre. Ronaldo was great today altought after he lost the ball we conceded the goal. This would be his season. I would like to say that SAF did make a mistake for not enclude Carrick right from the start because we lacked creativity in the middle and I did not understand his decision to exit for me our best player today, Scholes. Solskjaer must have come in the game much earlier and not in 80 min.
I just hope that SAF will encouridge the players and get there morale back as it as before todays game.

Wait till the end of the season and we have a one point and two goal advantage, there will be moans, whines and complaints that it should have been more.

I agree with most of this, Rooney, as far as I can see, the FA are slowly destroying him :nono: :mad: ... We know he'll be back, he just needs more match fitness, I have to say though, I think he'll be pretty mad with his own performance.

I don't necessarly think that we los because it was against a 'big' club.. if that was the case we would have played as well as we have been doing and still lost.. the fact is we simply didn't Saha, hardly touched the ball he was not the player has been, neither was Rooney, Scholes, not even Ronaldo was at this best. Yes, he played quite well, but to me he d moire like the player from last season who has forgotten how to play a team game :nervous: .. the whole squad looked shattered, I feel that VDS would have made the save, as Kuszczak didn't get down to the ball and actually went over it, however, in his defence he had a great game with a great penalty save which VDSmay not have saved.

Positives to finish..

Kuszczak does look a pretty good keeper to me :D ..
Rooney, Saha, Ronaldo will all return to form
Solskjaer, looked as good as ever in his 10 minutes he had (best chance we had)
Giigs,Smith, Vidic & Heinze are not too far away from return now
We have a week to 'rest'
We got Reading next .. I really hope we return to the way we played against FUlham :devil:

As much as I hate to say it, Arsenal deserved to win, we deserved to lose, these games there are usually tackles flying in from everywhere, and this one, I was surprised at the lack of aggression, maybe it was cause the guys were tired, but we need Smudge, Heinze and Vidic back ASAP :devil: :devil:

Anyway, it's not the end of the world, this will give them a kick up the arse
